mfnick
Shame if it’s a phony as Dirt 5 on it would be a huge deal for me.
DisturbedSwan
That's a no. It's tied to the 'Optimised' section above the image.
mmmark
What were you thinking @Maf? You’ve really let yourself down with that one.

Maf
I bought Skyrim: Special Edition on Switch because I thought it was funny but if they stick it on Gamepass this November I might actually play it again
Sly Reflex
December Skyrim is a tradition.
DisturbedSwan
Now y’all don’t have an excuse not to play GOTY 2020.
one-armed dwarf
Yea I agree anyone who hasn't bought Tony Hawks should do so and not waste their money on a boring GP game about shotting demons
mfnick
Awesome. Starting to add Bethesda games sooner than I thought they would. I may finally play Skyrim when that gets added. Still never touched it. DOOM Eternal fucking rules by the way. Fuck all the negative Nancy’s.
Maf
I’ll give Doom Eternal another shot before the end of the year since I really only did a level and a bit but I will say I didn’t like what I played at all. Admittedly, yeah, I have played the smallest amount you can really play of that game. But right now it wouldn’t even get on my top 10 this year and I’ve still got 3 or 4 spots vacant with nothing in them.
bellow
I wouldn't mind an enhanced version of Oblivion. My first games on game pass on the 10th of November will be Alan Wake followed by Outer worlds. There's no reason to it and yet it has been decided.

one-armed dwarf
I really wanted to like DOOM Eternal and went into it a Positive Peter but there was so much platforming which is unfortunately a genre I really dislike so that's how it be. I actually also want to play Alan Wake at some point cause apparently that shit is important for Control DLC.
mfnick
Night in the Woods! Sweet. Wanted to play that after reading all GOTY accolades it received when it was released.
Maryokutai
Night in the Woods is fantastic. And also very bittersweet when you consider what happened in the background during and after development. A lot of the things characters say in that game are way more personal than you might initially suspect.
DisturbedSwan
I thought Night in the Woods was massively overrated. It's charming as fuck with some great characters but that's about all it had going for it for me. Vermintide 2 is great though.

That's interesting, isn't it. I had no idea these games were linked. I always thought I would enjoy control but people on here say it's stupidly hard (not that I shrink from a fair challenge if a story is worth it). Maybe after my Wake playthru I'll check it out. one-armed dwarf
We can set up a support group for each other when we both play it It is super hard, I played a bit on ps4. No difficulty select either.
bellow
I'd generally give up before I'd select easy dif on a game, anyway. Doesn't often happen. Ninja Gaiden Black springs to mind....?
Maf
Control is not that hard. You just mash the pick up and throw button and dash about. Also the enemies always spawn in the same places so you get very used to o fighting them over and over... There are a couple of bosses in the game that are kind of tough but even then it’s not that bad. Alan Wake is both harder and better than Control (Or at least I had more fun with it at the time)
