Maryokutai
The main thing that interests me, a bit like mfnick, is just seeing how much their games will improve on a technical level. We've talked a lot about diminishing returns on Playstation and Xbox hardware, but this is the first genuine leap for Nintendo hardware in over a decade. And on the plus side they're not even going to break the bank because at the end of the day they're still an entire generation behind despite all that. The short MK9 teaser might be a bit disappointing in that sense, but it's also just a short, not-fullscreen clip and outside of Super Mario Kart and MK8 the series was never really know for its visual prowess anyway.
mmmark
Everything is an Xbox Quote Microsoft’s gaming CEO has praised Nintendo Switch 2, and said it plans to support the upcoming platform with ports of Xbox games. Nintendo finally announced the new Switch earlier this month, and although no games have been officially announced for the platform, Xbox’s teams are said to be prepping multiple releases, including Diablo 4, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator. Microsoft’s newly-acquired Activision has also committed to releasing Call of Duty games on Switch 2, via its agreement with the FTC. Speaking in a new interview with Gamertag Radiopublished on Friday, Spencer confirmed Xbox would be supporting the platform, and said he’d exchanged messages with Nintendo’s president following Switch 2’s reveal. “I was exchanging emails with Furukawa-san, the CEO of Nintendo. I gave him a big congrats and said my old eyes appreciate the larger screen,” he said.
