Duck Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Bought Strider in the sale...lesson learned. Good list though, been wanting to play Towerfall. Heard a wee rumour PS+'ers get a Destiny beta key too.
Duck Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Gah, shot down by one of the EU community managers. Still need to pre-order
spatular Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 You can probably still preorder on amazon, get the code, then cancel, if you want.
AndyKurosaki Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Yeah I preordered with Amazon, got the beta code. But unlike Shopto, that hasn't locked me in and stop me from cancelling. I didn't hate Dead Space 3, for free it's worth a try. I've totally forgotten what happens though, it's inferior to the first game. Which I loved.
AndyKurosaki Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Tried Doki Doki Universe, haven't a fucking clue what's going on. Just dumped into a "wacky" setup, and off you go. Gave it 10 minutes, but it does nothing for me at all.
AndyKurosaki Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 It barely explains anything, just leaves you to figure out what's going on. While that may appeal to some people, to me it just makes me think "fuck it, i'll play something else then". Not that bothered as it's free on Plus. Glad I didn't buy it.

DANGERMAN Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 yeah, although Strider last month and Dragon's Crown before that weren't bad. FWIW I really liked Crysis 3, but that's very much a master race game to get the most out of it, and Proteus is cool, not really your sort of thing though, nor something you'd play all month
AndyKurosaki Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Yeah not much worth bothering with there. Another Lego game. Crysis 3 is alright. Fuck Fez. The developer is a massive wanker, so I'm not playing that even if it is free.
HandsomeDead Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I've been waiting for Fez and Proteus to hit Plus so I'm sound for the month. Also, that Metrico is apparently some rhythm puzzle game so I'll try that as well since I like stuff like that.
illdog Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Yeah not much worth bothering with there. Another Lego game. Crysis 3 is alright. Fuck Fez. The developer is a massive wanker, so I'm not playing that even if it is free. Your missing out on one hell of a game for no real reason, twat developer or not Fez is fucking fantastic.
Craymen Edge Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 The developer is a massive wanker, so I'm not playing that even if it is free. But you've played Gears of War, right?
spatular Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Also, that Metrico is apparently some rhythm puzzle game so I'll try that as well since I like stuff like that. cool, i'll give that a try!
Sly Reflex Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 In all honesty I don't think AndyCumonmytits would like Fez, it's just not really his bag. 'Tis and excellent game, mind.
DANGERMAN Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Still, is that a reason not to play a good game? I almost didn't play Shadow Complex because of the original source material and the author being homophobic and right wing
illdog Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Ok, i wouldn't play a game made by Hitler even if it was great but I think that's over blowing the context a little.
HandsomeDead Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Aye, I suppose I can't look at an Earthworm Jim game the same way with it being created by a homophobic tosspot. But that's not the same as Phil Fish. He's not a real tosspot, not in the same way as the those with some involvement with games like Earthworm Jim and Shadow Complex.
DANGERMAN Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Ok, i wouldn't play a game made by Hitler even if it was great but I think that's over blowing the context a little. I hate playing against Hitler, he's a right kampfer
