It’s a really fun platformer, it showcases the abilities of the DualShock. Definitely check that out. I liked the idea of Returnal, but found it way too difficult to play. I never managed to get past the first boss. Not a bad game, but certainly a divisive one.

Jirad’s behaviour has been absolutely bloody shocking. I used to enjoy his Completionist YouTube videos. But his shady actions with that charity money, has completely killed his credibility. Think it’s safe to say we won’t be seeing him in action ever again. I so wish RGG would make a sequel to Fist: Lost Paradise. It was so bloody good, literally. Snaggletooth
Yeah that would be good, id like to see wgat they could do with a game set around the formation of Tojo. Think could be an interesting take on late 60/70s Showa era Japan
Popular Post DANGERMAN
Finally got to my PC today so picked up some stuff. Cocoon and Robocop I think could be GOTY entries. Clash just looks mental. Dave The Diver I've had for a few weeks... it's alright, not sure I'm seeing what the fuss is about. And The Forgotten City and Shadow Warrior 2 I just wanted while they're cheap
AndyKurosaki
Robocop is so bloody good. Easily one of the best games this year.

Popular Post retroed
I picked this up on Xbox last night before the sale ended. £26.99 down from £89.99. I own the standard edition on disc (which I will be selling) but have heard nothing but praise for the DLC and having recently got into the game, I felt the time was right to go all in. The season pass is never on sale.
AndyKurosaki
The DLC is great, well worth playing. I will always be gutted that Midnight Suns underperformed, which has basically killed any chance of a sequel. As it was an exceptional game.
mfnick
Yep I absolutely loved it. The DLC adds some great characters and definitely best played while playing the main game so you get more use out of them. I made the mistake of completing the main game first. Enjoyed using them in NG+ though.
AndyKurosaki
The only bad thing I can say about the DLC, was that when I played each chapter when it came out, the trophies were bugged and wouldn’t unlock. Other than that, it was a fantastic game. It annoys me that some of the reviews tore it to shreds, which definitely hurt its sales. I’ve seen people saying “Lol that game is shit”, and they haven’t even remotely given it a chance. They’re just jumping on the herd mentality bandwagon, that for whatever reason decided it’s a bad game. Ah well.

Popular Post Maryokutai
Spoiler This was my personal nonsensical expense at the end of the year. It's a collection of all currently available Annapurna games on Switch on a single cartridge, which is just a very cool idea I think. This might be something I only bought for the collection though because I already have the games that interested me. In the bigger box there's an Annapurna-branded carrying pouch for the Switch and a small plastic cartridge holder that I could have lived without but it was part of the deal.
Popular Post DANGERMAN
That's cool, they should do one every few years I bought a wireless Dreamcast controller called the Retro Fighters StrikerDC Wireless. It's a Bluetooth controller where the dongle goes in to the Dreamcast controller port and houses the VMU. It's got the same analogue technology as the Dreamcast pads so there's no stick drift. I think there's inbuilt vibration but I've only tested 1 game (Project Justice) and I didn't notice any Also pictured, the Shenmue duck and Streets of Rage badge that Spatular got me as a birthday present
mfnick
That looks so much better to use than the official pad.
DANGERMAN
Well, look, I like the official pad a lot, never had any issues with it. I find this not to have enough resistance on the analogue stick or triggers compared to the Dreamcast pad, but it handled Project Justice fine. I suppose Garou and something like Crazy Taxi are better tests of the dpad, buttons and analogue stuff
