Craymen Edge
I had a look through the other categories not quoted. I feel having categories for individual genres is increasingly outdated. Action and Action/Adventure nominees could easily be swapped in many cases, and Sport/Racing had to be combined for there to be enough nominees to make a category, then half of them are annual franchises so they're probably there nearly evey year. I laughed at there being a Best Chinese Game category.
ThreeFour
I enjoyed it last year. Some good chats with Industry peeps and bits of news/trailers. Shame it's at an uninviting time.
DisturbedSwan
Updated the OP with all the categories. For me personally, I'm absolutely gutted Yakuza 0 didn't get any nominations, I didn't think it would be a GOTY nominee but thought it would at least some love in one or two other categories. Absolutely chuffed Persona 5 is up for GOTY though and a few other categoties. Also, as good as PUBG is there are far better games that deserved to be in there in its place in my view. ThreeFour
He's a games journo. Seems to know the industry well enough and has contacts. I used to love watching the Bonus Round on Gametrialers with him, Michael Pachter and guests.

DisturbedSwan
Expect a Souls Switch remaster for Switch to be announced at TGA's tomorrow night according to rumours. Geoff Keighley's also said there will be two worlds shown that have never been seen before at the TGAs, and has been hinting he's got AAA games to announce, not just Indies/VR titles. Titles confirmed to have new trailers/gameplay so far: Metro Exodus, Sea of Thieves, PUBG's new map, New Jumanji trailer, New Way Out gameplay/trailer. 12-15 'world premieres' during the show, 3-5 in the pre-show according to Keighley. Nintendo of America have also been putting out a load of tweets telling people to tune in, so looks like some Ninty announcements may be sprinkled in there.
