Nintendo eShop Deals

I played a bunch of PC CRPGs 2000-2010, so Baldurs Gate, BG2, Pools of Radiance Myth Drannor, Temple of Elemental Evil, Neverwinter Nights, Wizardry 8, Divine Divinity, Dungeon Siege, Arx Fatalis, Morrowind, Oblivion and even for a good while Guild Wars.

Unfortunately for me, despite its numerous plaudits, I never really warmed to Planescape Torment - it felt like too much reading and talking and not enough action.

I found an excellent website this morning that seems to automatically track the prices of Switch games on the eShop and big online stores like Amazon and Game

https://www.dekudeals.com/

Much better than using the actual Switch store which is hassle. There might be better deals online from smaller retailers. But as a first check for a game, especially without having to use the eShop directly, this seems really good

All the SteamWorld games are on sale right now, even including the very recently released Heist II (which unfortunately must mean it didn't do very well). The Dig games are the popular choice of course, but my recommendations would be both Heist titles and Quest.

Honestly can't remember the difficulty level of the first, but the second one is pretty challenging during its first 10-ish hours. Subsequent party upgrades make it easier as you go along, though there's always the difficulty modifiers.
