Script still holds up, had me laughing a few times. The puzzles ranged from simple to nonsense (has to check a guide a few times - would never have found some of them out) as usual for these point and click games but they weren’t bad for the most part. Can tell they put a lot of work into the remaster updating the graphics, sound and making it widescreen. Luckily it has that awesome feature where you can switch between old and new at the tap of the button. I subsequently heard it was perfectly playable as a single player experience, so when it came to Game Pass I downloaded it to have a look. Having played it now in single player, the co-op aspect looks like it would be pretty basic (standing on pads to open doors for each other, pulling levers on different parts of the screen together, and a couple of head to head mini games.) The game is fun and charming. I like the visual style and music, and it has some good writing and enjoyable but not especially challenging puzzling. I can’t emphasise just how much music, sound effects and presentation add to the game. One I’ll return to for a quick blast for a long time I imagine. Started Hard mode - nope.
