On a topical note, one of the people credited with voice talent was Zoe Quinn.

Injustice - Gods Among Us (PC)

While I'm not really a massive fan of beat-em-ups, the story of this game hooked me. In the Marvel Vs DC question, I always firmly come down on the DC side, and so a story of alternative universes, and a Superman turned evil dictator after Joker tricks him into killing Lois Lane, and blowing up Metropolis was a sure fire hit for me. So much so, I've ordered the graphic novel based on the game story.

I'm not a button masher, when it comes to fighting games, and I try to learn the combo's. I found the hardest fights in this game where when my character at the time (it changes every forth fight or so in story mode) was fighting his/her alternate universe self. Superman vs Dark Superman, Green Lantern vs Yellow Lantern, etc. There are characters where this doesn't happen, as their alternate version is dead in the story campaign. But as fighting games go, I really enjoyed this one. I may keep it on the PC for a bit to go through classic battle mode, which is very much like classic Mortal Kombat. In fact Scorpion is one of the extra unlockable characters.

This was fun, but really brain-bending at times. It's basically a Zelda style adventure with the expected Double Fine sense of humour, writing, and cute artwork, but you can 'hack' enemies and objects in the world and change all kind of values.

You start off being able to just hack with your sword and change things from a list of variables, like making a creature non-agressive for example. Later you get tools that allow you to hack yourself, or jump into the code of objects and change the logic that controls them.

The logic stuff can be really confusing to start, and I think the game could do better at helping you understand this stuff, or even just what to do next. But, it's really satisfying to mess around with this stuff and I enjoyed making my way through it.

Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror (PC)

Dark Souls 2 (360)

Fallout (PC)

The Walking Dead: Season One (360)

Broken Age: Act One (PC)

Actual Sunlight (PC)

There are some games that you might buy for 90% off their RRP of €5, and still feel like you've wasted money. I'm looking at you Thirty Flights of Loving. Or, I was looking at you. Now I'm looking at Actual Sunlight. There's zero game here, effectively the developer has used rpgmaker to talk about depression, it's all over in 20-30 minutes. I can only speak for myself, but the writing made no impression on me at all. I may be in the minority because I remember the game getting a lot of praise at the time. If I had to actually assign a score to this I would probably give it 0/10.

The only saving grace is, the game only has one achievement, which you get for completing it, so it goes down as my second 100% game on Steam. Also, hilariously the game has trading cards. I managed to pick up two before it was over.
