Maryokutai Posted January 13 Posted January 13 The only somewhat believable argument as to why they would announce it this month still is because they have their usual investor meeting at the beginning of February. If it isn't announced by then that would be (I think) the third time they'd have to go in front of them and tell them basically nothing. Not that something like that stops Nintendo, but it coincides with a time period in which announcing the system absolutely makes sense, at least if you want to get it out in the first half of the year.

Whether or not anything has changed since then is another matter. If it was delayed because their games weren't ready then it's moot anyway, and better they delayed it It does sort of feel like if they wanted to wait even longer the Switch would still sell. Maybe not the software, but they'll sell it to families to play Mario Kart for a while if they wanted to

Maryokutai Posted January 31 Posted January 31 You should check out 6 on Xbox, it's backwards compatible and holds up really well (IIRC it was 1080p/60fps at launch). 7 is better, but a PS3 exclusive, so a bit harder to get access to. I never played the N64 game, don't even remember many people talking about it either. It was so engrained with the PS1 at that time. Would like to check it out, but *insert broken record* not going to through a subscription.
