I'm doing some dicking about with file permissions to try and sort out the file upload issues, we might be a bit up and down for a few hours.

No Emojis and a 504 error when trying to log in (but it still logs me in) at the moment for me.

Sorry this was a test, the built in forum emojis work but all the other ones seem to break comments.

 

I did see a message on mobile saying that emojis were forbidden or something, like permissions mabye

I don't use a phone [for the site]. So it would seem only the emoticons work, nothing else is allowed

We are using an out of date database type apperently. Not sure why it's an issue now but worked last week. I'll try and make some time this week to look further into it. Anyone had any luck uploading images? Still seems hit and miss for me.

I tried to upload two images separately yesterday. It came up with an exclamation message saying "-200"

To be fair to myself, I didn't cause this problem, we keep hitting a memory limit on a shared temp drive on the web server, but all the broken stuff that's happened from me trying to fix it is on me.

Yeah a few people have mentioned that, not sure what's happened there.

They are seem to be link to a database memory issue which is being looked at at the moment. Basically I think we've filled up the database with too much shit posting.

If you are desperate to search for stuff, you can put site: mfgamers.net + search item (ie site:mfgamers.net Yakuza 2) into Google and it'll return the relevant pages.
