I managed to get someone's care package earlier and ended up getting 12 kills whilst in a heli, sweet. I just did this, knifed the guy in the back, took his care package which turned out to be a chopper and that took me to the top of the leaderboard. It looks like grenade spam is history - I've seen about 3 frag grenades thrown in total. It seems to be because you might want a single grenade in your equipment (looks like they've taken out 3 grenades in a row, unless you unlock it somewhere), or alternatively, you might want a throwing knife instead, or the ability to choose where to spawn, or a blast shield. Manicm Posted November 14, 2009 Share Posted November 14, 2009 The snowmobile bit, its very James Bond! but yep loving this, ive only just completed that level, didn't see anything wrong with it! but hey thats me, what i did find wrong was some 9 year old kid in JS today trying and succeeding in convincing his mum to buy it for him, until i explained the content in which the game went back on the shelf with a "he won't be playing that!" why don't parents look at the boxes and age ratings!! I finished the single player, the battle in the plane yard on Veteran was fucking stupid, just pure luck getting through it really, i must of died 20 times but sometimes the game decided to give me checkpoints (where it previously didnt) so eventually i stumbled out the other end coverd in thick spotty jam. Ive got a real problem with accuracy in the game, highlighted when trying to do The Pit in under 30 secs, sometimes i was right up close to a target and somehow i missed, that happeded a ton of times. Ive also sniper someone in the chest twice and he just stood there, same thing happened to a floored soldier, popped him twice but he just laughed at me. Ultimately i did enjoy it, the snowbmobile and speedboat bits seemed pointless but were a nice distraction and i definately agree with Ben, so much pomp actually had the reverse effect, the end made me roll my eyes and sigh. Special Ops can fuck right off, its basically made up of everything i hate about the campaign. Might be better with two tho, i shall reserve further judgement. Yes, just after the training bit or just before it when you are running past some Humvees. Not sure what he says, probably "mo fucka" or something. One of the hummers even pollutes the air with one of his songs. I am trading this in tomorrow towards L4D2. I like the multi but there are some things about it that would just drive me insane if I played it for any length of time. Like people on your own team stealing your care packages the second they land and then gloating about it. They really should enable team killing on anyone who does that.
