AndyKurosaki
Can't say I preorder much these days. I've got Fallout 4,obviously Rock Band 4 with Guitar (I aint paying silly money for the Band Box), and Super Mario Maker with Amiibo (surprise surprise). That's it. HandsomeDead
Not to go against the grain or anything, but I think that Mario Maker Amiibo is fucking ugly. I really don't want that thing anywhere near my house.
AndyKurosaki
Fair does,it could be divisive, cant argue with that mate. I like it. But then, people like Marmite. And I hate that, wont have that in my house. So its swings and roundabouts.
spatular
And also, which I may not keep, I've got Rodea on Wii U ordered. The edition with the Wii version as well. Word on the street is that the Wii version is the one you really want as the Wii U one is a port of the 3DS game so not as good looking and also doesn't run at 60fps. I'd say it was conceived to be played with a Wiimote too, so it seems like the way to go. But it depends what my finances are like come November. I mostly want it as collection and conversation piece at parties. But if I don't have the £60 then I won't bother, which is likely. DANGERMAN told me about this, it sounds interesting. anyway I don't think you need to order a fancy version to get the wii game, the amazon page for the normal game says: "The Wii version of the game which is only available with all launch copies of the Wii U version ( Wii version of the game will be available as a physical disc and bundled with the Wii U box" which admittedly doesn't make massive amounts of sense, but does seem to say all versions include the wii game at launch. (i don't like the mario maker amiibo either)
HandsomeDead
Huh. that's what I thought originally, but then I was lead to believe it was only available through the fancy edition you can only get from the Nintendo and NIS stores. Well, I'll see closer to the day what the options are. I don't buy these sorts of things anymore (rarely did tbh) but it does look nice And it'll be a hoot to have got it and the game not be good. HandsomeDead
So I cancelled that nonsense Rodea thing above today. I just have the regular one coming but still with the Wii version, hopefully. But only because I saw that GAME do sell the Physical edition of the new Project Zero game (which was exclusive to the Nintendo store until they sold out damn quick) so I took the opportunity and got that ordered instead of the Rodea thing. I also have that 3DS Chibi-Robo game with the Amiibo and the Shovel Knight Amiibo because I'm a big, fat baby. Man, most the games I have coming is just collector's stuff this year. I have Fallout 4 coming as well, but it's mostly hard to get nonsense for me this Winter.
Sly Reflex
So I've got some credit on Xbox One that's going to expire soon. Some of it is going to go towards the FX2 pinball tables that come out on the 20th. Thing is I don't know what to spend the rest on. Suggestions? What's worth a play on the Xbox One store? illdog
Had a fall out with shopto, i bough 3 copies of Halo 5 and they took my gold membership away and put me on trader terms, tried to argue with customer service and it was like talking to a robot so I told them to go fuck themselves and cancelled £250 of pre-orders with them.Sooo, where do i buy shit that arrives on or before relase day now? Any preferences people?
Duck
I think Simply Games and Game Collection are the most popular at the moment. I've used both with no problems. Got MGSV a few days before release from Simply, but I've noticed they've been putting their prices up recently..
retroed
Yep, the two mentioned above are the best. Simply Games do gradually put their prices up right up until the game is released, so try to get in early for the best price. Uncharted Collection was £34.85 for ages then crept up to £41.85 a week or two before it was released. Just a heads up if paying via PayPal - both Simply Games and The Game Collection will charge your PayPal 30 days after you place your order, or just before dispatch, whichever is soonest. DisturbedSwan
I rarely use anyone but ShopTo, but used Simply Games last year to buy a copy of AC:Unity, never turned up and apparently the shipment got nicked from their warehouse, so I got a refund and popped into Argos, no big deal really, and only spent £5 more getting it from Argos, but it was nevertheless a bit annoying. Used them again this year for my copy of Black Ops 3 and it came a day early so I can't complain really.
