Sly Reflex
I never heard of putting syrup on. I'm going to try that next time I have crumpets.
Duck
Marmite on Crumpets or GTFO! Board game people. Shenandoah's first 2 games Battle of the Bulge and Drive on Moscow are on sale for £1.99 atm, they're really good. Also Monster Hunter Freedom Unite was released today on IOS. Anyone pick it up? I'd be down for some dinosaur bashing if folk have.
AndyKurosaki
Marmite can get to fuck, it's vile. When it's Crumpet Time at the Kurosaki household, it's Nutella all the way. Beat that.
Sly Reflex
Nutella? Are you trying to kill me with these suggestions?
spatular
i'm now wondering what a crumpet with all of butter, marmite, syrup, and nutella tastes like. but of course i'm not going to buy any marmite to find out.
AndyKurosaki
Nutella? Are you trying to kill me with these suggestions? But the ads always go "enjoy Nutella as part of a nutrisious breakfast". So therefore Nutella is healthy. Right? ;-)
Pikman
JFC - Off Topic much? Thanks for the find Duck, either one of those (Battle of the Bulge and Drive on Moscow) better than the other? I'm up for giving one a go for sure.
Duck
It's a series you should buy both but if I had to choose I would say grab Drive.
Pikman
A series? In that case I could get both, I guess Battle of the Bulge was first? Sounds like my life right now

Duck
Aye that does look good. There's so much good stuff coming out on mobile at the moment I can't keep up. And yes Bulge is first.
Pikman
There is! I downloaded both, playing with my Bulge now.
Duck
You should read some of the history stuff behind your bulge. It's pretty interesting. I picked up Monster Hunter as reviews were super positive.
Pikman
Yeah, I think I will. Reminds me of Band Of Brothers too. This seems like Advance Wars on my iPad!
Craymen Edge
I played the free bit of Layton Brothers: Mystery Room on Android. It's an odd game really; nothing like a Layton game, it's much more like some of the investigation and cross-examination sections in Phoenix Wright. The first 3 cases are free (although the first one is actually just the intro), there are 2 downloads of additional cases for a couple of quid each, I think. I found the interface a little confusing at first, but got used to it fairly quickly. The cases themselves are a little rough round the edges, and not as well written as something you'd see in a Phoenix Wright. I also felt like a couple of leaps of logic were needed. It was still fairly fun to play though, and I might try some of the purchased cases one day.
DANGERMAN
a few months back the European Commission ruled that games with in -app purchases weren't allowed to be called 'free'. Google announced yesterday they're going to act on this and separate them out of the free section by September
