Snow bike Mike from Kindafunny recently played through DmC 3. That was a great watch, highly recommended. Hi excitement when seeing how off the walls mad it is (in a good way) from the opening cut scene is beautiful to watch.

I think that’s what he’s saying. Why try harder without one to help fund it. I can confirm 720p looks terrible on OLED 4k. This and FFVII Rebirth look like blurry shit in performance mode.

There was a lot at the Xbox showcase I liked actually. But fuck Halo! Even though it wasn’t actually there. 😂

Halo has always been overrated tosh. Wish they’d give up with it. Without a huge overhaul and doing something revolutionary with it (which could also backfire), it’ll never reach the same heights either. People aren’t bothered anymore.

This is definitely a Tv only game. Handheld it’s very blurry & the ship takes up a lot of screen. Only done the first championship so far. Seems decent, it’s not grabbed me yet though.

The camera is the hardest enemy in those games! How the Hell did you not have a problem with it?

That was a really good show. Easily the best of the week. Xbox have really hit their stride with games.

Hell yea. Hopefully this makes up for the worst, most disappointing sequel ever made in Forever. Still, a bit cautious, obviously because Forever was shit. But in 3D there’s too many variables which can make precision stuff like this frustrating.

No, especially the current gen, but I was expecting more here I guess just because it’s been so long coming. & apart from Series X there’s still always been something new feeling about them at least and more than literally 1-2 new games for it. This is no doubt the norm going forward, being more phone like in new consoles. But I can still be disappointed by that. & this is easily one of the worst launch line ups ever still - not counting ports which I can play better elsewhere. But because of the strong BC performance I’m still ok with the purchase while being disappointed.

It feels premium which is good considering the price but still worth mentioning, it does feel expensive. That was a big problem with S1, it did feel like a toy. The screen is BIG! Which is very nice too. Shame it’s not OLED though. The Joycons, while better, still suck balls. Really need Hori to hurry up with a new split pad for when using handheld. I’ve said it elsewhere but considering how delayed/late this is at coming out the lack of games which aren’t ports or from Nintendo is pretty fucking ridiculous. This should have had one of the best/biggest launch line ups ever but there’s nothing. There’s been rumours of this kind of system for the last 4-5 years and there’s been another year+ since it was common knowledge it existed. How is there not more there? Speaking of MKW, it’s ok. The free roam is boring and really lacks aim & a good way of finding stuff to do. & I hate how the GP works. The racing between tracks sucks so much. Those inbetween bits are boring and the courses which seem well designed then only have 1 lap. It actually feels pretty bare bones IMO considering this is their big £70/$80 release. MK8 is far more fully featured. & they’ve been working on this since they released MK8D so lack of time can’t be an excuse. Not worth buying the system for at all IMO. After MKW - well there’s nothing. Unless you want to play ports of old games. However if you treat it as a Switch Pro - if you’re using it to play old games you never got around to or couldn’t because the performance was so bad, or just never had a S1 its still worth it. Especially since because of everything going on in the world the price will never go down in future or may even increase as mad as that sounds. Just don’t expect it to feel new. The lack of new UI really hurts in this respect too. It’s like the Series X. It make sense keeping the old UI sometime but I think it would go a very long way to making it feel new & more worth it. It sounds stupid but even a small change like PS4-5 UI makes a significant difference in feeling like you’ve bought a new system instead of an upgrade.
