Mine was probably Street Fighter 2 on the Mega Drive. But I actually picked LED Storm as that was an extremely early Capcom game I played on my brothers Commodore 64. Bit more of an interesting choice I thought and was almost my first.

Anyone know if they’ve confirmed you can still get them from normal gameplay in the full release? Must do right? Otherwise I may have to get the demo just for them.

Smart! Have people who aren’t involved in the gaming side & potentially not even know anything about the gaming market make the decision. Like it. I mean that was basically Bobby Kotick and Jim Ryan really & they did ok with it. But still, my point stands.

A week. Haha the gaming community is already in meltdown over this. Another week is just going to make it go supernova. Can only assume a lot of truth is in all the rumoured games going multi then otherwise he’d have just said it’s bullshit. Whats even more confusing is they seem to finally be making good on all their investments. A few bigger releases are coming out this year and the Acti deal has gone through so if their fortunes were going to change it would have been this year. But if they do go multi I’m with a lot of their games it’ll destroy that momentum entirely. Been no mention still of Acti-Blizz games coming to Game Pass either yet which would have been another big deal for Xbox this year. Grabbing defeat from the jaws of potential victory.

The whole digital is 90% is kind of BS. On struggling to find the actual figures but I think it’s 90% digital in Revenue - not sales. Including battle passes, MTX etc. Of course the manufacturers want that narrative to run as they get a lot more money that way which is why they want to go all digital - and let’s be honest the fact these companies want to go all digital so badly should ring alarm bells. There’s no way they’d want it to be digital if it would benefit us and not them. I have found 1 link for Sony from a couple of years ago with actual numbers for 2021 and projections going forward. https://www.sony.com/en/SonyInfo/IR/library/presen/irday/pdf/2022/GNS_E.pdf Obviously a bit out of date but I doubt it’s have changed that much from their projected figures. That being the case they’re still making $7-11 billion from physical sales. They can’t just let that go. I know the Xbox is meant to be more digital at this point but I bet it still makes billions from the physical side. One thing I don’t actually see happening with games - as much as MS want it. Is subscriptions ever taking off in the same way as film, Tv and music. Games require much more effort from the player than any other form of entertainment. They also last a hell of a lot longer than a film or album. & while FTP games like Fortnite exist for the more casual audience there’s no reason for them to subscribe to a sub for a bunch of games they’ve no interest in ever playing. & the true casual audience which are needed for subs to truly take off like they’d want are on mobile playing free games there. Going back to the MS going multi platform thing, I can only say I just agree with what everyone has been saying regarding it being terrible for competition and for gaming in general. Really hope it doesn’t happen. They really need to get out there and say something before they lose control of the narrative again like they did with the One. I will say if they start releasing games on PlayStation though I’m done with Xbox. There’s literally no reason to own it at that point. Apart from the pad which I prefer 1000% but I can live with that if it means one less £400-500 console to buy.

Turtles Mutant Mayhem That was brilliant. First 15-20 minutes were very slow and a bit dull but once it gets going it’s a hell of a lot of fun. Great soundtrack too & one of the most visually impressive films I’ve ever seen. Loved it. Im not even a big TMNT fan either.

I actually ended up enjoying that business mini game in the last one. Used a guide though.

This is something I could get on board with I guess. If I could access Game Pass on Steam Deck I would have definitely bought (another) one of those as I’m just not invested enough in Steam to make that a must have thing at the minute. GP support on it definitely would though. I know the Asus one and some others have GP but they’re much more PC like. I want a more console style experience like the Deck has.

I’ve done a bit on Dondoko Island. Reached 1 star so far… Yea I just haven’t got that part of my brain people who enjoy these types of games have. If you don’t know it’s an Animal Crossing/survival mini game thing. You have a day which is about 15-20 minutes to press X at trees, rocks, rubbish etc. to get loot from them. Then repeat the next day. Sorry but this shit is soooo boring. Why do people enjoy this? just stood at trees pressing a button? Anyway. There’s also bugs and fish to catch. You then upgrade the island and build stuff to try and get people to visit. Even the mad LAD trappings aren’t helping with this bit. Unfortunately this looks like the best way to earn money so I may have to suck it up. Hopefully not though. Gone back to the main island and loving it again now.

After the Arkham games and 8 years what we get is a “ok” one of these that deserves all the extra ire it gets IMO. Even if it’s just to give publishers thinking about doing this shit a message.

Yea it’s a bit crazy if they go a lot more 3rd party. What’s the point in me having a Xbox if that’s the case? What’ll happen to my gamer tag and game library if they move more and more in that direction? Why should I invest more in that? The things that just completely doesn’t make sense to me is regarding how they’re expecting to make people sign up for Game Pass when there’s no huge exclusives from them on there. And doing this removes even more reason to have GP. I’ve said it before but the fastest and best way to grow Game Pass is to make Xbox feel essential with fantastic exclusive games. How do you get people so sign up to it when there’s no reason to buy their console in the first place? PC is an entirely different market too and I just don’t think it’ll fully take off there no matter what they do. Especially with the app being as bad as people say it is. imagine if Sony did the whole day 1 thing on their extra tier - stuff like Spider Man 2, FFVII RR, God of War Ragnarok etc. it would immediately decimate Game Pass numbers. The big marquee exclusive games are what will get people signed up but MS seem to be moving further and further way from this.

I got this for Xmas but it’s just been too stacked even just for JRPGs that I’ve not even started it yet. I’ll try and make it my next one but I really want to play FFXVI, P5T and P3 Remaster too. Plus FFVII RR is out soon. Jesus! Maybe I do need a PlayStation Portal so I can play them while the missus is watching TV? 🤔😂

I’ve recently been thinking about GH and RB and how much I’d like to play them again for some reason. So I’m definitely interested in this depending on price. I’d also need to check if I can still transfer the older tracks to 4. I stopped at 3 so never did it. Also got the same concerns as Mary regarding the strum bar. I hated the soft RB guitar strums. It genuinely ruined the experience for me. I could complete 99% of tracks on expert with the GH ones but I’d struggle with doing them even in Medium with the RB guitars. The GH3 one was best but World Tour was ok too. GH Live was a good one too but that obviously wouldn’t work with the classic note track. If the strum bar on this is soft then it’s a no go.

The Sujimon side game is far better than it had any right to be. Also -Itchy Balls Kasuga. Simple and stupid but worked for me. Someone being told they look like a Create-a-wrestler is such a great diss too.

Definitely gave some strong Nier vibes in this trailer. Not a bad thing though IMO.

Yea! One of my favourite books from when I was younger that. Isn’t there a sequel called the Lair or something too? Remember loving that as well.

Generations is by far the best modern Sonic game. Loved it. So I’ll keep my eye on this just to see if the extras are worth a double dip.

Decent show. I’m with you. I’ve got zero interest in playing it but I have to admit that trailer was a great watch. Got to admire the style. Just a shame the gameplay is boring as fuck.

@Nag Told you to have faith! Not too far off. Im still well up for this. The whole vibe, the aesthetics of the world, characters, enemies etc. just fucking hit 100% for me. Parries!! Looks like there may be some classic God of War finishers in it too.

JRPGs out the wazoo at the minute. Good times! Slight discount for these atm.
