radiofloyd Posted February 6, 2017 Share Posted February 6, 2017 Apparently, changing the system language on the Switch changes the in-game language. I was reading up on Breath of the Wild and apparently if your system language is set to Japanese, the game will change to all Japanese (audio and text), and the same for English. I don't think it matters which disc version you own. I'll probably give it a stab in Japanese (apparently the kanji all have furigana above them) as some people have said the game is very Ghibli-like. I doubt the game will be cut-scene heavy and the text shouldn't be too complicated as it's a Nintendo game also aimed at kids...hopefully. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

DisturbedSwan Posted February 9, 2017 Share Posted February 9, 2017 A Smyths just opened near me and they're doing a midnight launch, so I was tempted to cancel my pre-order and pick one up there but seeing as BOTW is the only game I'm getting for it and that's coming the day of the 3rd I thought it was a bit pointless as I'd have nothing to play on the Switch until later in the morning/afternoon that day.
