radiofloyd Posted December 30, 2017 Share Posted December 30, 2017 Well I'm not putting any games that I haven't finished into my list, so I'm holding back on Xenoblade for now. I love it but it's not a patch on Hollow Knight so...that game remains my number one. It's shocking that Eurogamer ignored it (and of course it didn't appear anywhere on their largely nonsensical top 50 list), but then Eurogamer has kind of gone down the drain this year... DANGERMAN Posted January 14, 2018 Share Posted January 14, 2018 settled on mine. It's a bit of a weird year in the way it was weighted for me. The first half of the year was outstanding, so much so that I never got to put the time in to the likes of Persona purely because there were too many great games to play. The back half not as good, in fact quite a few of the big games (Mario), of slightly smaller (Prey), and there's stuff I think I'd have loved (Divinity) that I just never got time to even look at. I ended up having a top 5 or 6 filled with games I loved, then everything else is much of a muchness. Uncharted could have replaced Horizon, same with Mario I guess, but Horizon ended well for me. Hellblade, as I type, I haven't finished, but it's really interesting, Night in the Woods I enjoyed a lot too, but there's just something about it that I didn't think was deserving of a top 10 place, as daft as that sounds Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
