I had to Google that as don’t remember it at all. It looks good for an N64 game

I haven’t looked it up but I thought ME2 and `ME3 were really big for the time. It seemed that way the amount of marketing they were putting in to it

I don’t think I’ve ever played a Ridge Racer game

One step closer to Beetle’s Adventure

This will be interesting because to me DMC has one of the most unbelievable and dysfunctional universes in all of games. Like nothing about the world makes any sense and then in DMC4 there’s just like, other people and they’re going to church I kind of would really like it if they just went hardcore in to the nonsense and didn’t try to make a real world or story about it at all. Just punk rock graffiti killing demons, surfing on rockets and dropping one-liners as cheesy as the pizza.

FUCK Sand Land why would you betray me like that

The thing I remember about Ninja Gaiden is there’s like 3 attacks that are just OP. There’s the dash attack, the grab that throws them in to walls, and some kind of charge attack which takes forever but I think just kills any non-boss enemy in one go. Also I use to use the Nimpo skill mainly because invulnerability and it would let me survive killing blows. I haven’t played this game since the 360 and I only played it once. So swimming bits and fish I can’t recall at all. But I remember just spamming these attacks and it got me through the game

It really is an Xbox

Stellar Blade? But fuck that game RETURNAL is where it’s at EDIT: Hang on I have not understood the assignment My new answer is Sand Land But my real answer is RETURNAL

PC trailer. Specs are out today and this is one of the few games I’ve seen where to run everything at max they recommend a 4090 The more time passes the more I feel disappointed with this game. I think gameplay that was too similar with a story that was too familiar really made it a predictable and boring thing. The game has some good moments and nice twists and unexpected Spidey stuff they throw in to the mix. But it couldn’t stop it from just being too samey and not enough surprise

Sounds like typical UE PC release where it is better in some ways but with a lot of annoying problems as well. Stuff like not being able to change resolution in certain windows modes is the type of stuff which is just like no way I can’t be assed with all that The only clear win I think is the pop-in issue is much better. Which is what I thought I saw in the PC version trailer so that’s very good. But settings not workings, stutter issues, and all the usual stuff with UE on PC. I dunno. Reduced pop-in sounds really nice because I’ve seen video of the PS5 version and it looks like a joke. But all of this shit that comes with the PC release, I think I’d still stick with PS5, if I ever get to this game anyway which all the time is becoming less likely. I was hoping the Steamdeck version might be cool but sounds like a no as well

This shit looking boring.

I’ve never out and out cried at a game but a lot of games that have got me choked up or a little emotional is MGS3 - When Snake refuses the White House honours MGS4 - The end gun shot (which is almost immediately undone but it does get to me) Tetris Effect - The first level, final level and credits (playing through the “campaign” in one go is an amazing experience) Life is Strange - chapter 3 with the girl in the wheel chair Then honestly a bunch of Nintendo stuff. I think Nintendo do celebration and nostalgia better than anybody, which can be just affecting to me as things that pull at the sad heart strings I want to know what games people have finished that have made them clap at the end. I remember doing it for Skyward Sword on the Wii. Then had 10 years of people shit talking the game. Played it again on Switch, got to the end, and gave it a little clap again that game is magic. Uneven, to say the least. But ultimately magic EDIT: oh, and I know it’s just a licensed song and probably something half finished sitting around that the singer had no plans for, but the end credits to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are so joyous and creates nostalgia for something I just played

Oh, ok, I thought it was just because it was better, cheaper and only available in China I should have read more
-
I don’t know. On the one hand I don’t really want China to have the most powerful version of the most ground breaking important technology of right now but on the other hand I kind of want every right wing leading western country to burn and die so swings and roundabouts I guess

Must be a contract between Marvel and Sony for 3 seasons without the first one even airing and the one clip of it that’s out there makes it look shit lol

It couldn’t be more un-Captain America to edit or change itself when it’s ideas are at odds with current politics and administrations

Since I mentioned it earlier I looked up the state of the PC version and couldn’t find any conclusion. Some people say no stutter, some say little, some say a lot. Some say frame rate and performance is fine some say frame pacing is terrible, feels really choppy and performs poorly Only thing I did find is once again (just like Still Wakes the Deep) the Gamepass version doesn’t have DLSS where as Steam version does DF must have a video or podcast topic on this next week. I’ll wait for that but assuming that the bad word is true I’ll play on Xbox for simplicity
-
The fact the new one is easier makes me more likely to play it. I thought it sounded cool but I was thinking about the 360 version and was like I don’t want to do that right now Haven’t seen any breakdown what the PC version is like? When I read UE5 I thought it might be a PC version to avoid but maybe it dodges the usual UE5/PC issues if it’s just a render and not built in UE5? I guess I’m also assuming that makes a difference which it could not

How are these Smash mods this fucking good?
-
This why I think it’s more lack of consistency than over saturation. I think over saturation has played apart for sure, but 5 years of mostly meh with the odd yay and no sense of progression for the universe has just killed it In a twist Superman got more trailer views than anything in WB/DC history or something. Maybe DC will bring interest back to comic book films and Marvel can ride that wave and find their feet again

The one, key, advantage the 4090 has over the 5090 is at least you can fucking buy one Also watched a bit of the DF review on the 5090 today. It is soundly better from what I can tell, but also a bit disappointing? A 5090 runs Cyberpunk 4K native with full RT at about 30fps. Now I understand realistically you would always use DLSS or something but the point is i thought it would be more impressive than that? It seems like the current way they make their graphics cards is big diminishing returns? I guess they don’t care because DLSS is their baby and they want you to use it. And it’s great, and that’s fine. But a 4090 already runs Cyberpunk 4K upscaled full RT at over 100fps so…why? Just to get 200fps? Huge, raw, horse power upgrade still needs AI for good performance - but the AI is turning a 100fps game to a 200fps game which seems redundant? I didn’t watch the whole video. But this is what it looked like to me. DF also put out a video about the upcoming improvements in things like more complex Ray tracing and other stuff they saw at CES. Maybe when that stuff is released the 5090 makes more sense but right now it looks like nearly £2000 for an extra 100 AI generated frames. You can tell by the way I talk about it this is not something I know very well. Maybe I missed something but this is how it struck me
