  1. I don't think you need one, you just switch your location to NZ in the settings or on the Xbox website I think. I haven't done it myself but yeah no VPN needed afaik.
  2. October update 27/10/23 - Alan Wake II* 09/11/23 - Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name* Got a £30 Amazon Voucher for taking out pet insurance recently for then redeemed 5000 points on PSN to get £20 off then a voucher for the remaining £45 which came down to £39, not bad for two games. * Pre-purchases
  3. Spidey 2 and SMB Wonder should be sure fire GOTY picks, but yeah I think the damage has already been done anyway with those counter picks.

  8. About 48 episodes into One Piece now, the Arlong Park mini-arc has been the highlight of this season so far, just a fantastic 15 episodes or however many there were. Fantastic action sequences, some real emotional moments and great depth to Nami's character. Just the whole story of that island was really sad and the whole redemption of it by the Straw Hat Pirates was super cool to see.
  9. I bought it and then quickly sold it after the reviews hit, which in hindsight perhaps wasn't the best of decisions. I'll put it on my ever increasing 'to play' pile but who knows if/when I'll get round to it unfortunately.
  10. Ready to step up as new CEO It's a shame he's retiring but 30 years at the company, overseen the successful PS5 launch cycle and now wants to go off into the sunset, can't really blame the guy. It has been funny the last couple of weeks to see Americans lose their shit when they realised Jim is short for James though lol. He was never much of a presence in the Public eye, didn't make any appearances on fanboy podcasts with questionable individuals, didn't give an interview to any outlet desperate for a soundbite compared to other CEO's out there with shit-eating grins. I appreciated the guys modesty.
  11. Haha yeah she definitely wouldn't like that, would be packing my bags the next day
  12. I'm calling bollocks on that but real world use is difficult to test for and folks are so different. I get up at 08:20 every morning with my phone fully charged, in the evening when I go to bed at 23:00 and put it on the charging pad it's never on less than 30% battery. That's with bluetooth on, WiFi on, 4/5G on, apps running in the background, apps refreshing in the background, downloading over cellular in the background. Most days I could go 2 days without having to charge it if I wanted to. I go on TikTok all the time at work as well, use banking apps, other social media apps, forum browsing via Safari, watch the odd YT video too etc. as well, and yeah, never less than 30% charge at 23:00. It's not something I worry about in the slightest. My phone isn't always in my hand but I still use it quite a bit, dating apps when I was using them pre-Char used to be a huge battery drain though I will say. If you're on a 5 hour train journey or something and you're constantly using your phone, going on different apps, watching YT videos, TikTok, tweeting stuff out, it's constantly searching for signal, it's in your hand the entire time, that's the only time you have to worry about it draining.

    Random News II

Late Fridays and Saturdays for me when the Wife falls asleep. Sometimes she falls asleep early on the couch in the week too and I have to seize the moment, even if its for an hour, until I get my PSP anyway.
  14. I remember being the guy at Uni who had to collect all the rent every month, there was one guy out of the 4 others I shared a house with that didn't have internet/mobile banking and had to go down to a Santander branch to do the transfer every month. Fuck that noise, hated that cunt. Phone batteries last longer than 12 hours nowadays as well thankfully, I don't remember the last time mine ran out of battery on me, old iPhones (1 to maybe 6?) used to be notoriously bad but they fixed that awhile back. Some beefy Android phones probably have bigger batteries though but I'm out the loop on those. I'm not sold at all on the folds, there's a car reviewer I watch on YT a lot that has one and they just look a bit cumbersome for me, I'm wary of even going for a Pro Max because of it feeling too big in my pocket, the concept is new though and I do like new tech being introduced, especially when phones in general have plateaued in innovation the last 5 or so years.
  15. As concerning as the headlines are, it's not been verified yet if a hack even took place, so I'd advise caution at this stage until we know more, even if the hack is verified there's no reason to think user data was compromised.

  17. As much as I’d love to be disciplined enough to do that, I love getting a new phone every other year (I guess every year or twice a year now lol), new tech just makes my wallet open like nothing else haha, similar to @regemond phones are one area where I’m happy to spend more. Anyway, it’s here! Delivered by o2 earlier today, lovely jubly.
