Those eza and ian higton vid were uploaded at the exact same minute. I wonder if Sony have this as a requirement for previews, you must do these silly unbox videos or something like that

Ian's a good VR hype boy, I'll forgive him this once

No, Ian is a good boy, I just said so. Don't lump him in with these other fools!

When will someone tackle the mastery that is re-boxing. Anyone can unbox. Putting it all back in is the real challenge.

Dammit. This post has completed ruined my adoration of the unboxing community.

Now I think they're all talentless chancers. Thanks mmmark!

Reviews are out for VR and they are incredibly positive (on the hardware side at least). As an aside, do people think it would be better if PS VR had a different thread? I don't think it matters but just asking.

eg, PSVR news thread.

I did think about creating one at one point but I've put so much PSVR2 stuff in here now I just thought it would be a pain for the mods to extract from this and put into a new thread so I didn't bother.

I'm all for it though if they're up for the legwork involved, I'm happy to keep it in here if not though.

Watching that DF video, it's effusive with praise but they still make the same point I've been feeling with this thing. It looks amazing in terms of its potential, but the software lineup just gives me a lot of trepidation. It sort of feels like a 600 euro liferaft for high end VR, more potential than it has promise as such. It's like a significantly more pronounced version of the cross gen issue PS5 had, but worse cause there's hardly any new games to begin with.

I've had the Rez Infinite experience already. I'm sure it's even better in PSVR, but it's not going to be like experiencing it new, and Horizon has this sort of tech demo-ey kinda thing about it I'm not into.

Saying all that, this thing makes me want Capcom to remake RE1 all over again and put a VR option in it like they did with Village. I will always be there for VR zombies.

edit we have our own thread, and my mayo PS5 shitpost made the cut! 🥳
