Standout title from Devolver's showcase. 

 

Looks wonderful, though there's obviously the risk of it ending up a very gimmicky experience. But even then I think the charm and creativity on display could easily carry this on their own.

This has so much potential. Lifting one side of the book to make a cart roll down the page is the kind of out-of-the-box puzzle you'd see in some DS games, but without even the need of a hardware gimmick. If that kind of creativity permeates this from start to finish this will be something very special.

Didn't watch the whole video as I think this will live or die by how much of its little gimmicks catch you off guard, but it's good to hear it seems to play well for the most part, too. I highly doubt this is going to run well or look nice on Switch though. Probably going to be very blurry (UE4) and as it always needs to keep the entire room in memory it's likely to have the same downgrades during 2D gameplay as well.

This game has looked really promising on every showing. But a bit worrying that reviews aren’t out by release day. This game looks too good to review badly. Must be a strategy thing. But not what like to see

Around 84 overall. That’s really good, but less than I was expecting. I was thinking 90 at least 

 

Now just need to see how the Switch version holds up otherwise I get it on PlayStation.

Edit: looks better than I expected, though the flat lighting makes the 3D segments look a bit flat. Also kind of wonky framerate during those I think.

I'm probably going for Xbox but I'm waiting for the physical release next year anyway.
