DANGERMAN
Bioshock Infinite There's not a lot of graphical settings, just low to ultra. That said it looks pretty good so far (not got out in to the city yet because it's bedtime) but it's mostly ran at 60fps on ultra (framerate set to locked). It did dip to 30 in the area the 2nd picture was taken, I might unlock the framerate if that's going to be something it's doing a lot also, not graphics related, but the mouse sensitivity is way too high, I think it was with Bioshock too. Hopefully they don't just leave it to the community to patch this time
wholehole
Lovely shots, from both games DM. The shot of Psycho is excellent. That game's character models are insanely detailed. I'm being good for once. As I'm only at work tomorrow and have the rest of the week off, I'm waiting to play Infinite so I don't stay up until the wee hours playing it. By the looks of things I'll definitely be taking more screenshots than I know what to do with when I finally do start playing.

DANGERMAN
I just wrote out how to do it manually and the forum told me I couldn't use that extension. Not sure what extension tbh, but it seems to be being a bit strange [img*]imgaddress[/img] remove the star you can use the html code to <img *src="imgaddress">

Craymen Edge
Thought i would weigh in with a bioshock screeny of my own (no spoilers present) EDIT: apparently im not allowed to post pictures now? The problem was trying to use the Steam screenshot url. The forum tags don't like that for some reason. Probably because it doesn't have a file type (.jpg, .png) at the end. wholehole
More Bioshock screens, of course. My screenshot key has taken a beating whilst playing this game.
Jimboxy
This is shit. I can't see any boob. In all seriousness, it does look lovely. The light hitting the floor in the bottom picture looks amazing.
Hendo
Those two of Grizzly's must be the two most common ones, I know I snapped them as soon as I got there! Stopped taking pics after I got a gun though, want to enjoy the experience now.
Grizzly
Yeah its a common shot, I thought I would be relevant though because it's a scene commonly seen in press photos, it's rare for the shots to match or even better normally rendered stills. Craymen Edge
I'm going to do a few Bioshock Infinite shots, because it looks so damn good from an artistic design point of view. Best game since Dishonored for producing great looking screenshots.
Craymen Edge
A couple more Bioshock Infinite screens from near the end. These could be considered a bit spoliery.

Craymen Edge
is guild wars easy enough to get into? wouldnt mind a free to play mmo to coincide with wow. Yeah, it's very casual-play friendly. You can get XP in all sorts of ways between storyline quests - I really enjoy exploring the maps and finding all the locations and dynamic quedts. I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard the world v world is very good too. Just to be clear: it's subscription-free, but you do need to buy the game up front. DANGERMAN
not sure this really belongs in the high res thread given that it's only 720p and not all that great, but as a test I took a screenshot of Splinter Cell Blacklist on the WiiU
Sambob
What graphics card do you have Ben?
DANGERMAN
a HD Radeon 5870 but I'm replacing it at christmas. It's been pretty good and for the most part it doesn't struggle with much, but there's going to be a step up in spec this year (apparently, despite looking like the last game COD Ghosts wont boot unless you have 6gb ram), I've had it 3 years or so and it's loud when it gets going, so with £200 getting you a much better card it's probably worth upgrading to hold me over another 3 years or so why do you ask anyway, I thought your computer was about on a par with mine?
