Phooey
Trailer & Official website Anyone picking this up on the 20th? Looks pretty darn cute & I'm loving the pat-a-pat-a-pat-a-pon.
Hendo
Is it made by the LocoRoco people? It looks like a similar style so I reckon I'll pick it up, but obviously after Christmas is out of the way.
Phooey
It certainly looks & sounds like it is. IGN's TGS impressions. I've just looked on YesAsia for this game & it says "This product is not eligible for tax-free (VAT-Free) service to the U.K. and Germany." First time I've seen that. What does that exactly mean? HandsomeDead
I've just bought a PSP (PS3, your next), and I downloaded the demo of Locoroco and I'm wondering where it has been all my life, I love it, so Patapon deffinatly has my interest, I can't quite work out how it plays but that will be part of the surprise I suppose. Hendo
LocoRoco is one the best games I've ever played. Patapon better be fucking awesome or I will be very cross.

Not sure what that meams exactly but I think Yes Asia dont ship Sony products to Europe anymore, a la Play Asia. Boooo-seph.
DANGERMAN
I think they might still do, but they ship straight from HK to you rather than to themselves. Basically you have to pay customs now... I think Stupid Sony
retroed
Eurogamer: It goes live in the PSP Store on 21st February, and is the same demo-to-final-save taster that US fans get when pre-ordering the title from Gamestop. Ha.Demo-to-final-save means you can transfer your saved progress across to the retail copy when it finally arrives. You also get your hands on a rare Spear of Protection to carry over, too. Patapon is a quirky side-scrolling tactical-rhythm action something-or-other from the maker of LocoRoco. However, it is a little more complex than the latter, although just as stylish. Patapon will be out for PSP on 22nd February. Head over to our Patapon review to find out more. Good news that a demo is coming, and also that we are getting the full game before the US. Hendo
I can't find my USB cable anywhere (in fact I've had two and they've both vanished), can you download demos straight onto the memory stick?

You can if you have a card reader, I think. I genuinely cannot wait for Patapon. It'll be awesome for me.
retroed
Hmm, this is £12.49 preorder for the US version at VGP. Plus shipping and it will come to circa £16. I can't see it on any UK online retailers at the moment except Play.com, where it is £24.99.

Phooey
That's a damn good price. I've gone with Gameplay (£19.99) as I had trouble getting the US demo with the weapon unlockable type thingy, so I got the Euro demo on Saturday. Jimboxy
i really want to get this, locoroco is by far the best title on the PSP, but i'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooo poor at the moment, does anyone want one of my kidneys or a liver, hardly been used..highest bidder, no time wasters
David
I absolutely adore this game - so much so I'm going to spend twice as much buying the EU version tomorrow, purely because I'll get it a week earlier. The demo is teh awesomers. Those who haven't tried it, get it here. http://store.playstation.com/store/index.vm

Hendo
I keep meaning to get the Parodius and Gradius Collections. And spend more time on Gitaroo Man. Anyhow will be picking up Pata-Pata-Pata-Pon this weekend.
Phooey
Going o/t, but there's a cracking little game called Downstream Panic which has just been released in the US. It got a very positive IGN review & it's a bit like Lemmings mixed with Loco Roco. I've just started it & it's pretty good fun.
