Havent they said the PS5 is selling more than the PS4 in the same timespan even with the supply issues though? They were willing to put out PS4 only games during that time why not now? At this rate the PS4 and Xbox One will have had more exclusives in their first 6 months than the PS5 and XSX will get in their first 2 years.

Shit man! I’ve been meaning to buy that for ages. See it for £35 loads of times and never bit the bullet. Gutted Edit - I noticed a copy for £60 brand new on ebay. Couldn’t you have got that @Maf or don’t you use eBay?

Absolutely gutted that GoW and GT7 are cross gen. Really hampered my excitement for those games now. GoW I was kind of expecting as that was the original message anyway but GT7 should really be a games to showcase the PS5 with zero previous gen limitations.

Sounds like the issue I kept having that time. Keeps fucking his text size up like mine did too while trying to sort it. Try a different browser. I’m mainly on Safari but switched to Chrome when that happened and it let me post without issue. Few weeks later the problem seemed to have sorted itself out and I’ve been back on Safari since with no issues apart from the odd hiccup. Strange one but worked for me so give it a go.

Is Observation worth a play before it goes?

Not sounding very Ultimate anymore. Turns out there is a load of cosmetics tied behind a DLC paywall and they’ve removed modes which were in the FS version - most notably Quest mode. Looks like I’ll be sticking to the old Xbox version.

Yea I was mainly a 360 boy but the PS3 exclusives from UC2 onwards definitely looked a lot better. GoW 3 is still a graphical powerhouse IMO. Some amazing looking games have been mentioned. Can’t believe I forgot about Okami too. Another all timer. Stupid shit memory. Just remembered another in the negative camp for me. The Flash graphical style. Always got a groan out of me whenever I saw that style and would be immediately put off playing anything with it.

Graphics are a big deal but (usually) not a deal breaker for me. Rather than outright realistic games I’m always more drawn to stylised, artistically interesting games more. I’ll even try a badly rated game if it has a interesting art style. Favourites that immediately come to mind are - Cuphead, Octopath Traveller, Persona 5 (one of my favourite looking games ever just because of the overal style), Forza Horizon 4 - specifically the Lego pack, Auto Modellista, the recent Paper Mario, OG Mirrors Edge and it’s fantastic looking DLC to name a few. Generally love pixel art games too. Katana Zero and Narito Boy stand out as a recent ones I absolutely adored. I also do love a realistic looking game like Last of Us 2 and Forza 7. I still think the original Resident Evil Remake is a fantastic looking game too. The recent Mortal Kombats have been a great gory spectacle too. These are games I much prefer to have a more realistic look. But in general I do prefer more stylised stuff. Bad graphics or styles don’t tend to stop me playing a game. However it can really put me off. The recent Knock Out City is a great example of this. I just absolutely detest the art style. That whole style just really rubs me the wrong way to the point where no matter how fun people say it is I just have no will to play it. I hate the look of Fortnite for similar reasons. Overly cutesy games can sometimes annoy me too. Some of the Mario games have made me feel sick with how cute they try to be at times. Galaxy Bee Mario being a standout.

Agreed, I love my XSX and to a lesser extent the PS5 but it has to be the worst “launch window” of a new console gen ever. It’s just so dull compared to how I remember my first few months with the 360, PS3, PS4 and even Xbox 1. But in a way it’s also been a brilliant start to a new gen as it’s not immediately made all my old purchases worthless and redundant. In fact it’s made them better for the most part with improved performance and loading. So good in that respect.

Yea there is that still even though I love the fact it has a traditional battle system. The actual game was just to twee and uninteresting. Especially in comparison to games like Persona 5 and Yakuza as have been mentioned. Admittedly I only played a handful of hours though, should really go back to it. Still looking forward to this though.

Finished season 4 of Castlevania. Really enjoyable. Some fantastic action scenes. Especially liked the episode with That was done really well. Bit gutted they had but it wasn’t a deal breaker.

Looks great, but I agree, it doesn’t look like that much of a leap. Still be impressive if they can get it to run at 60fps looking that good though. The animations and the way they link together still look really weird and stilted too.

Yea boi!!! Except for Ive always liked it that way. Some additions like the Boost in Octopath are good though, but yea. Keep it simple and turn based, I’ll no doubt love it.

? do love a good hot tub streamer. Probably helps them having some strong single player story games with non stereotypical female leads such as Horizon and Last of Us. Alongside handsome blokes like Nathan Drake. I can imagine they’re more appealing to female gamers than another service, Battle Royale or CoD where a load of insulting blokes are on there shouting obscenities or just hitting on them. Saying that, a document to investors has been leaked where they’re looking at developing more Multiplayer service type of games which would be a damn shame.

Yea that’s the screen comparison I saw. Akira looks loads better FS IMO. Think Sarah is another where I think she looks a lot better before.

PS+ title too! Fucking excellent. Final Showdown is a brilliant game so a updated version is very welcome. I don’t think the character models look as good though. The more stylised plain look suits them better IMO but it’s a small complaint.

I honestly can’t see that soap opera effect thing with my trumotion settings. I can definitely see the judder though so I keep it on.
