Yeah its a beauty alright, hard to do justice to its brilliance with a number out of ten. To men, and some women, boobs are awesome, but they dont make toast.

Regarding picking out limits in what is effectively a limited media read Robert Florence's review I linked to on the previous page of this thread.

The other thing I've heard a lot about is how the enemies ignore her completely and just focus on you. This is explained in game. The guys you're fighting want to capture her for one reason or another, not kill her. You're The False Shepard, you're the big bad as far as the people of Columbia are concerned. You're Public Enemy No.1. And besides, if it weren't for that, the whole game would be one long escort quest and nobody wants that. Nobody.

that doesn't explain every enemy, they never really fully justify Booker being attacked in the back half of the game imo. Fwiw though I thought the way Elizabeth worked was great, I'd rather of had it this way than having to protect her like Ashley in RE4

True, but with everything that happens past the halfway point it could easily be passed off somehow. As high quality as the game is overall I see little point in nitpicking little things like that as it doesn't actually affect anything at all.

Don't click unless you've finished Infinite.

Did anyone else miss this part in the game? Apparently you go downstairs at a bar in Shantytown. I completely missed it.

Also,

Notice the little sister mourning the Big Daddy, whilst Elizabeth mourns the loss of Songbird.

The moment the Songbird's eyes went green and then shattered was a really sad moment for me. So well done. I've heard one of the DLCs will go into more detail with the Songbird, so I'm looking forward to that.

This game.

Theres also links doing the rounds that feature the exact same soundbite used for said characters demise, pictured within that spoiler, in a related game released several years ago. What are the chances eh?

That first scene was just beautiful in every way. Beautifully sung and framed, especially the way it forces the viewpoint so you can't miss the whole thing play out.

I spent about half an hour in the second scene just poring over every single inch of it

It's definitely in there, it's just not what everyone wants it to be. You know what the internet is like. It's got to be just a weird coincidence, or more likely re-use of sound assets.

Ken Levine is a Motherfucking Sorceror but I very much doubt they had the overall plan of this scale so long ago.

I wasnt in to this at first but the game really grabbed me by the bollocks about 2 hours in. See, i was really looking forward to playing Bioshock under blue skies and then when the opportunity came along it didnt feel right. At first. Then i was all like 'No way, it seems the feel of Bioshock is the murky underwater darkness, i guess this wont feel like part of the series then'. I was wrong though, because Bioshock is the noise it makes when you start a new quest, its the crackle and pop in the recordings you listen too, its the sarcastic view on the early 1900's lifestyle. And that stuff I just mentioned this game has in abundance.

I didn't always enjoy the combat tbh, I cant remember having such a gripe with it in previous titles but even on Normal I died quite alot so fuck knows how i'm going to get on in 1999 mode. Enemies seem to appear out of nowhere or be right behind you in an instant and sometimes it felt a little unfair but it wasnt such an issue that it soured the time I spent with it.

And yea, the ending was truly brilliant. I hadn't pieced anything together at all so the whole thing blew me away. I just want to lay through again now with the knowledge I have in hand and experience it all again, I dont very often feel like that. Gonna use a guide to get all the voxes and stuff so I can get as much story as possible.
