29/07/10 - Uncharted 2 - PS3 - Really enjoyed this all the way through. It has a very cinematic quality to it. I think that thing I'm most impressed by is the acting in the game. All of the characters feel very real, both in terms of voice acting and there screen presence. I kinda of see what DC was saying about making a point at the start about not killing people, then spending the rest of the game on a killing rampage (953 enemies killed total according to stats) which at first didn't sit to well with me either, then i looked past it and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Beautifully grim and a great puzzle platformer towards the end, I slapped my forehead many times during the last third of the game. Story wise?.. I dunno, I'm pretty sure I got what they were saying but it was still a bit anti-climatic. It's still smarter than the average bear, though.

Fallout 3 GOTY edition (Xbox 360) Finished the main game some time last year but picked up the disc cheap for the rest. Operation Anchorage : Zzzzz, Point Lookout was mutant Deliverance. Liked the location and the old mansions. Mothership Zeta was a bit by the numbers but the audio tapes were well worth finding and listening to. Broken Steel was the best due to locations, plot and overall blowing things upness, although it did get a cake walk when I acquired the super weapon.

Too Human (Xbox 360) We'll move quickly on from this car crash of a game.

Dragon Age: Awakenings (Xbox 360) Fun, although possibly a bit too combat heavy. Enjoyed upgrading the castle and catching up with people again. Hi Wade!

Onimusha : Warlords (PS2) Quite a weird game, which you can finish in about 3-4 hours. The combat mechanics show the age, although some of the facial expressions hold up. Voice acting is Resident Evil 1 quality.

Fahrenheit (PS2) Some of its good, like the cause and effect of your actions, alternative characters viewpoints, but sweet jesus are those stealth sections ropy. And it was never explained why it kept on getting gold. I think I got the happy ending though.

Why does the holder of the wisdom Triforce repeatedly get kidnapped?

Anyways, great game. I started it last year and I'm going through some of my collection. I picked up at the wind temple, the one with the little tree guy. After that was the hunt for bits of Triforce and I still it is a game ruiner for me, it artificially lengthens the game, it doesn't help that the last dungeon is the most uninspired in the Zelda series. But apart from the last third of the game falling apart the rest is great, especially the finale, that is my favourite in the series.
