  1. ^ nice one, what version did you get? Im still waiting for mine, think i ordered from one of the limited run games companies, not sure when its released. Think it might have been out for a while already in japan. I also thought it cam with Ray force (/galactic attack/layer section/ its got loads of names), which is the one ive played before and like, but even if it doesnt itll be good to try the others just checked and you can get a uk/europe version from amazon etc released a few days ago, thatll show me for ordering an odd version
  2. Been playing this a week or 2 and just finished the first game. Have played it before on gba (or maybe a ds) but only got to level 10 or so for whatever reason. I think there were some big difficulty spikes which seemed to require doing exactly the right moves, at the start anyway, but i was mostly enjoying it and positive about it. The last 2 levels were a big slog, took ages and not much fun imo, which sort of shows why i usually play this sort of game on easy mode - played this on the default classic mode, although apparently you can change that mid game. Ending like that im quite down on the game at the moment. Some of the earlier levels could be an hour long and id fail at the end and got a bit annoyed at having to retry a few times on some of the harder ones, but looking back those were alright, were a good challenge and much preferable to the last 2 levels. as the second game i think is supposed to be better ill maybe give it a go, or maybe leave it for a bit, not sure.
  3. This stuff doesnt really offend me. but yeah i agree some stuff in persona is not handled well. And not into really violent stuff, like i stopped playing doom eternal because you have to rip arms off the bad guys and shove them through their eyes every few seconds, if it didnt happen so often or was optional i could probably have coped with it. Also take the latest mortal kombat trailer, i thought it looked good until they got to the fatalities which totally puts me off it. But yeah sometimes i find stuff like that funny if the violence is so over the top, but think that only happens with older stuff with bad graphics, stuff looks too realistic for me these days.
  4. Been playing some batsugun, the saturn version that was released recently, was a bit worried about input lag as apparently earlier releases of these saturn emulated games have been bad for that, apparently they are better now although still not great, i didnt have a problem with it though. Anyway it was alright, plays a bit like a cross between a cave and psikyo game. Theres 2 versions i played the special one as that seemed easier, not sure what the differences are. Got to stage 7 and as it loops round after stage 5 im counting that as completed for now. Oh yeah by default it is in a strange view mode (probably default for a saturn played via crt) you need to change it to arcade rotated or something to fix it.
  5. I did the same as OCH on the last boss so was using the portable cooking pots for the first time, didnt realise they only last for 1 meal/potion.
  6. zelda hifi rush redfall batsugun special fire emblem engage metroid prime kirbys return to dreamland forza 5 rally dlc chained echoes
  7. looks ace! hope it turns out well
  8. could it have been on pc gamepass? I dont know, i thought it was switch and pc only, but looked it up and it came out on ps4/5 6 months after launch. anyway i thought neon white was awesome so hope people enjoy it
  9. ^ i really enjoyed that quest (assuming we're talking about the same one), great boss music too
  10. Im still playing this, done all the shrines and lightroots, done some more fighting, mainly against lynels which has been pretty fun when i got into it like in the first game. Upto about 200 hours. Should probably stop playing but i dont know i might carry on, still loads of sidequests to do, and ive still not really built anything oher than basic vehicles, so i could look into building a laser death tank or something. I read somewhere that you could do a So had a go of that yesterday. Think there might be some other minigames ive missed too. Loads of caves/wells/koroks to find (and taxi about the place). edit - i really liked this and botw but would like to see some more old school type zelda games in the future too.
  11. ^ reading this on a mobile (so couldn't see the full title of the youtube video) i assumed it was my favorite game as i associate that with GT, so guess that was on a different gt add or something - youtube comes up with this: this is a pretty obvious one (crazy taxi/yayayayaya) but otherwise i can only think of stuff from rhythm games
  12. ^ i've not played that new version, not really a raiden fan, 4 is better than 3 at least imo. good price though might get it myself so yeah i don't know sorry. also raiden fighters games are good.
  13. ^ you can sort arrow attachments by most used (press y), which puts bomb and brightblooms right at the start for me - although yeah depends what you use a lot of, and yeah i agree the menus can be annoying having to scroll to find stuff etc.
  14. Not sure about the max hearts but a row is 20 oh yeah One floating island that was high and out of reach had i hadnt fought a normal one yet but did beat it in the end, after a few failed attempts, much hiding behind pilars, and too many wasted bomb arrows,
  15. ^ nice one! think i've got 30 or so lightroots still to get, and about 30 shrines left too. explored the sky more recently and found some fun puzzles and stuff. it's nice that you can find stuff out of order, in the main quest i got an objective and straight away it completed but i don't remember doing it. finished the game the other day, the end was pretty good imo. but intend to carry on playing anyway. fought a lighting gleeok but with only i was screwed, will come back to that later edit - there's so much cool stuff people have made these are just the tip of the iceburg, been watching loads of youtube
  16. This is coming to the quest/vr, which in theory should be really good, game should suit vr well, motion tracking should be great.
  17. yeah i agree, you can get the cut scenes in any order from the (story spoilers) having said that i think the story bits are alright, i like that there's more story stuff than botw - although that wouldn't take much. been playing this a lot and mostly really enjoying it, it's such a big game though, it's an odd situation for me that i'm mostly enjoying the extra stuff i'm doing. usually i'd mainline the story in a game this big, and i think it will be best to get the story done soon-ish then come back to do other stuff later or something. but there's so much i still want to do, not even explored the sky much, and there's still loads of places on the surface and underground unexplored. want to do some more fighting. do all the shrines. make some cool vehicles/contraptions. etc. etc. but not sure if it's going to drive me mad. there's a lot of clothes to collect, which is cool but i sort of want the useful stuff, which i have bits and pieces of but am now starting to google where some bits are. now i'm further in i've been watching some videos of cool stuff people are making, there's a lot of impressive stuff out there been doing a lot more fighting now and it's much easier than at the start as i've loads of hearts, better armour and speaking of - later story spoilers - one of the only bits i've really disliked i've found the boss battles in this pretty good, or at least much easier than in botw where i struggled with a few. i think botw made me engage with the combat more where this you can cheese it more, which i don't mind but i'd like to get better at the dodging which i was ok at in the old one. i think maybe the enemies have a bit too much health, making the fights last a bit too long sometimes, maybe i'm not fusing good enough weapons. the shrines are generally easier too i think, enjoying them still mind, most stuck i've been is right at the start when i didn't know what a switch looked like and thought i needed a new power to do a shrine and left it till later to have another go and it was super easy. been enjoying the combat shrines too, favorite one was
  18. Nice one, the first game was good so looking forward to this

    Marathon

I like bungie stuff and the trailer looked cool, apparently its possibly a multiplayer only game.
  20. Cant remember if it was already announced or whatever but ghostrunner 2 - cool.
  21. All that is much shorter term than im on about. in the last year ive used a ps2, n64, gamecube, etc. 20+ years old stuff. I want my stuff to last forever really, thats why standardised, rechargeable, easily available and replaceable batteries are much better for me.
  22. yeah the dungeons are pretty similar to botw in that theyre quite small compared to previous zelda games. For me thats fine, i like them. And the bosses have been quite easy so far, oddly as ive been finding the rest of the combat pretty hard. Yesterday went off to do the quests to unlock some more armour upgrades so hopefully will be able to withstand some more hits before dying now.
  23. AA rechargeable and user replaceable batteries ftw. although yeah built in batteries win for convenience and if you're not intending to keep stuff long term i can see the appeal.
  24. ^ you didn't just get marin karin every time? anyway i think there's good content in p3 it's just structured badly so a remade version could be really good.
