Story trailer The small action shown from the levels looks better, and overall it’s a well put together trailer. Shame we already knows what the bulk of this game looks like otherwise I would have said this was promising. Although, on the single player levels, they fucked that up in Sonic Forces too so even that’s not a guarantee to be good at this point either.

Hmm well I spent most of my work day watching YT videos on C1 vs C2 and C2 does have some things I like. A bit brighter, better motion, better tone mapping, faster on menus and things. But it’s also £500 more expensive. My mate just text me and said he’s already sold he’s TV so got to make my mind up soon EDIT: I’m reminded how much I hate buying/researching TV’s

It always looked like a very basic, 360 era open world game. But so was Crackdown 3 and I kinda loved that. Playing types of games they don’t make anymore can be refreshing (if you liked those type of games in the first place) But I guess this isn’t fun kind of throwback. Just a boring, buggy mess. The late embargo really was a red flag on the quality of this game, but I was hoping to be surprised I could still go for it once the price drops and it gets patched but it’s going to be a while I think

Yeah, this is what I was afraid of. Sounds like the game is going to need a few patches and a heavy discount for me to pick it up. Unless this for some reason sells really well I think this might be it for Saints Row, maybe this studio as well? Not like it’s even in my top 100 game series or it holds anything super important to gaming history, but RIP all the same

Yeah Dolby Vision for things like D+ is why I want it. I didn’t realise it was bad for games? Not sure what the examples of those are. By the looks of it I’ll be getting a C1 looking online this afternoon. The C2 is better and I am tempted by the fact it’s brighter when using BFI but for the money I think I go with the C1
