  1. All the right wing misogynistic knuckle draggers are a lot of the reason for the negativity. God knows why we're sharing Paris (France?) only figures for a film that doesn't come out until today anyway, folks chomping at the bit to tear the film to shreds already lol. Reviews-wise it's at a 60% average on RT which is respectable. Clearly it's close to being a divisive film though and is more Ant-Man 3 than GotG 3 it seems. I'd also agree that there's not much hype for it, but that is to do with the first sentence in this post and also the fact there's been no promotion due to the Actor's Strike. We'll see, I enjoyed the first film way more than a lot of people. I'll see how I get on with this on Saturday and make my mind up first hand.

  12. October was an absolutely bonkers month, just so many great games released in quick succession, makes my backlog even larger and I have to try to somehow finish them all before February next year 😮 Looks like it's going to be a tight finish between me, Nick and Tommy, need my last two games to come in strong for me.
  13. Japan haul so far, realised this pic doesn’t include Chef Pikachu though, probably some other bits.
  14. Even I'm glad it's all over, even if it's not the decision I think is best for competition. All hail our new corporate overlords.

  16. A long overdue post really, been meaning to post this probably for the last three weeks and haven’t done. Now 35 hours into this and still think it’s fantastic, pacing is super strange as others on here and those in the community have said really. Going from one huge fuck off amazing Eikon battle to mooching around the Hideaway and then doing fetch quests to randomly build a ship as part of the main questline is just jarring and strange. Still very much enjoying it though, the game does seem really front loaded on action, the first 10 hours were a rollercoaster of crazy fights, pretty linear paths and smaller open world areas and since then the game has mellowed and there hasn’t really been another big fight between the beginning and the one in Dhalmekia. The open worlds have got much bigger too, the recent desert open world I've been exploring is bloody huge, it kind of surprised me that there is open worlds that big in this game, but still somehow not really dauntingly big if that makes sense, they're a good size. Its won the three-way battle I was having with this, BG3 and Starfield anyway. This is by far and away the most engaging of the three (still need to put more time into the other too though admittedly) and definitely a GOTY contender if it keeps up the trajectory it’s on but there’s still probably a long way to go yet. Many pics:
  17. I was booked in to see it on Saturday, think I'll see The Creator instead now maybe.
