Off topic but CAMRA meetings are comfortably one of the worst things I've ever attended.

I signed up for a year doing the gold upgrade when I got my Series S and so far have pretty much just played Forza Horizon 5, already feel like I've gotten my £40 odd worth so anything else I play sees me in "credit" in my eyes

The first series is relentlessly bleak. The tone sort of shifts a bit for the second and third series, with the second series being the highlight. I thought it was an excellent show. In some ways it felt like the anti LOST in that it does just focus on how people react to the event and not the event itself. As it progresses, it does start to get weird in a similar way to LOST but keeps it pretty grounded still

Haven't particularly got high hopes for this. I liked Jurassic World more than most I think, but thought the last one was fucking terrible. The trailer looks fun, so who knows

I'm not sure I want to be the forums defender of NFTs, but I guess here we go. So you've downloaded the image and essentially that is no different to the person who buys the NFT, but they own the digital watermark for that image. It could be the same of any media, documents or whatever. In a similar way to how pictures can be shared online but the person who took the photo would be the copyright holder. There isn't a lot anyone can do to prevent distribution, but you can at least prove some sort of "ownership". All of this NFT shit at the moment is nonsense and a blatant cash grab, however, much like crypto currency, the technology behind it is quite interesting and could have some real world benefits. Legal documents, for example, could be stored online, registered as an NFT in your name and now you have some evidence that it is yours. Obviously, that relies on whoever deciding that an NFT can be used as proof of ownership. So, yeah, NFTs in games can fuck off, but let's not just condemn the technology to the scrap heap.

obviously, by commiting to the Series S I'm also commiting to digital only. I did say that I wouldn't buy anything for it and just access everything via Game Pass, but I've bought Witcher 3 (again, still not played it) and Crazy Taxi from the digital store already. Also, I noticed with Crazy Taxi that the original licenced music has been removed, as well as all the licenced shops as well, which makes a surprising impact on the game

I watched the first half of the first episode but turned it off (which probably doesn't say much, what with the episodes being 35 mins long). It seemed fine, but plodding, I'll wait until it's done and watch it.
