My memory of X-2 is the commspheres chapter (which I liked)...and also running through some 100 level dungeon fighting giant cactuars and some shellfish boss every 20 levels or so.

You trollin'? Risen is an open world rpg series from the developers of Gothic. I think Bob has played it. Risen 3 is actually due out in August. Sacred 3 and Tropico 5 are also coming out this year. All your favourite games are getting sequels.

All finished! A Portrait of the Artist and One Hundred Years of Solitude (nothing to do with Skyrim) are both masterpieces, two of the best books I've read. And Another Country and Runaway were both excellent as well, four writers I will be reading again. Now I'm reading Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. I'm on a roll this year.

Might want to add these to the list: Chaos Reborn Earthlock: Festival of Magic Kingdom Come: Deliverance La Mulana 2 Planets³ Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians It's been a good year for kickstarter so far. Kingdom Come: Deliverance has throttle The Mandate as the most wildly successful campaign delivered by nobodies. Also, Broken Age (Double Fine Adventure) is now released and the second half of Broken Sword 5 is now available.

Nah it's just Fallout is too involving, I will blast through it quickly after my exams (of which I only have 2 so it's not too bad). Phantasy Star II has a gorgeous menu screen: http://youtu.be/NUH0XDpkzKQ -

Randomly booted up Super Metroid and played that for around 20 minutes, awesome game. Anyway as a result I downloaded a shit ton of Snes and Mega Drive roms. For the Snes: Breath of Fire 1 & 2, Dragon Quest III, Live A Live (this will test my Japanese...), Star Ocean, Super Mario Rpg and Super Mario World 1 & 2. I already have a bunch of Snes roms so that rounds out my collection nicely. For the Mega Drive: Beyond Oasis, Crusader of Centy/Soleil, Landstalker, Phantasy Star II-IV, Shining Force 1 & 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3 and Sonic & Knuckles, Warsong and Wonder Boy in Monster World. I fucking love 16-bit. I'll mess around with them in the morning. I'll get back to Fallout after my exams... -

I'm on Season 5 of the X-Files. I've skimmed through bits of Season 6 as well and it looks like the show actually picks up again after a bit of a lull in Season 4.

Yeah one thing I remember about this game is that you have to get the Celestial weapon components as early as possible...otherwise they end up being blocked by Dark Aeons. I know Dark Bahamut guards one of the celestial pieces in Zanarkand if you don't get it the first time.

Looking very Dragon's Dogma.

It doesn't matter. He'll stay dead. Congrats!
