  1. I got the first one free with Twitch prime and liked it a lot.
  2. I doubled my time in American Truck Simulator since November

The art is wonderful, and I'm definitely interested in the full game now when it's finished.

They're pretty traditional point&click games but very well produced for what look like fairly low budget indie games.

Starts off with you trying to trick a game that is putting up blocks to try and stop you playing, then goes off into some silly and entertaining meta game related humour and puzzles. Has a nice hint system too. Short-ish and may appeal if you like things like Pony Island and The Hex.
  6. Interesting insight into the making of https://unity.com/madewith/harold-halibut
  7. The name is a bit crap but it looks amazing, and the music in the trailer is great too.
  8. For comparison: Still scouse, but the old one would have been annoying as fuck fully voiced.
  9. Bit of a lame one PC-wise, March was very good so it makes it look even worse.
  10. I played an hour and a bit last night. It's got great style, but little in the way of substance. I never really got stuck on anything, but did have a couple of moments where I took a couple of minutes to work out what mouse movement I needed to to this time. I booted it up again earlier, and it doesn't appear to have saved my progress, so it's probably getting uninstalled.
  11. New 7-part premium DLC announced: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2021-03-24-hitman-3-is-getting-a-seven-part-expansion I was just looking at the £75 Deluxe Edition on EGS, and it seems like exceptionally poor value, the extras look pretty thin. Hitman 2's most expensive version was similarly priced, but included both DLC expansions. This is going to cost an extra £5 per part, or £30 upfront for the lot on top of that price.

  13. EA just don't make many of the type of games I want to play these days so I'd never subscribe to EA Play on my own, but getting access to it via an existing subscription means I'll probably give Fallen Order a try.

This game is Chinese, I think. The occasional mistake aside, the English translation is pretty sound. The game doesn't start well, with a section you need to complete quickly. Failure means death and starting again. Thankfully it's over quickly, and gets into fairly normal adventure gameplay. There are a couple of puzzles towards the end where failure results in death, but they're not as frustrating as the very first scene. Generally the puzzles are logical and aren't particularly tough, there's a decent variety. I liked the story which is surprisingly gruesome at points, and liked the way it looked. The graphical style is really nice and the futuristic city scape is bright and colourful. A couple of scenes where one or two characters in the world were made to look like other pop culture figures detracts from the atmosphere a little, but it didn't happen enough to spoil it.

Still loving the adventures of Uncle Kaz. Obviously not quite as slick as zero and the Kiwami games, but still fine technically. I'll give it a little while before starting the next one, I don't want to burn out.
  17. Art Of Rally is really pretty. Very simple, but great lighting.
  18. I bought the Tales of Love & Adventure bundle at Humble Bundle. Blacksad, both the Telltale Batman games, Neo Cab and Indivisible were all on my wishlist. All for just over £10.

Some shit went down in this episode. But also I kind of hate Daniel, he's a bit of a shit whose only function in the game so far appears to be to fuck things up. Hopefully he gets a bit of development in the coming episodes.
  20. I can't say I have much faith in Blizzard these days, with much of the original talent gone and Activision management apparently interfering in studio business more and more everyday. I do hope it turns out well, though.

I liked it a lot. It managed to guide you in the right direction with very little text and no spoken language, although I did get lost a couple of times. The way the world moved around was great. It took me just over 11 hours, so didn't outstay it's welcome.

This reminded me that I never fully finished the original game back in the day. It's very much a 90's point and click adventure: some of the puzzles are a bit obscure, and going back and forth between locations can get tiresome, but I did enjoy it. For its age, it still looks pretty good.
  23. I kind of liked the style with weird giant objects everywhere, but it wasn't great to look at especially when moving. There's another game from the same developer free on Steam called Off-Peak, and it's very much the same style. I won't be rushing to play it, but I may have a look at some stage.

I want to play them now so started with this one, I had pretty much forgotten all of it. It's a pretty straightforward point and click adventure game and feels quite old now. Being built on Adventure Game Studio means it's' pretty low tech as well. I have enjoyed some of this dev's over games, and this one was good enough to want to continue to the next one. The Norwood Suite (PC) Very weird and surreal walking sim set in a hotel themed on a (fictional) famous musician. You wander round doing favours for people, opening secret passages and solving simple puzzles. It's not a great looker but has a certain charm to it, and the in-game world holds together well and was interesting to explore. https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/the-norwood-suite-hotel-game
  25. https://comicbook.com/gaming/news/witcher-geralt-henry-cavill-figure-superman-conversion/ A superman figure transformed into a really impressive Geralt of Rivia.
