Nag
Volition and Deep Silver are today preparing to announce something new at a special PAX panel, due to commence at 10am-11am PDT (1pm-2pm EDT/6pm-7pm BST), with Saints Row voice actress Natalie Lander (who plays Kinzie) hosting. And this morning Deep Silver has teased the next Saints Row on Twitter with a supernatural promo image, depicting a branded ouija board, with the Saints Row logo and the number of the beast - '666'. What does it all mean? It surely means something Saints Row-related, but what exactly remains under wraps for now. Volition will be revealing the first "exclusive gameplay, art, and details" for its new game during PAX later today. It looks like a new Saints Row game is all but certain. Check out the teaser below. "Something wicked this way comes..." http://www.xboxachievements.com/news/news-19127-Supernatural-Saints-Row-Announcement-Teased.html Keep em peeled tonight then, I guess. Nag
Deep Silver and Volition have revealed Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell during its PAX Panel in Seattle. Billed as a 'standalone expansion', Gat Out of Hell will be launching for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC. In Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, you'll be able to play as either Johnny Gat or Kinzie, in a departure from the usual Saints Row lead character, which is normally one you've created yourself using the game's create-a-character 'Initiation Station'. Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell has yet to be given a release date, but a trailer is on the way. In the meantime, why not admire the rather exciting announcement artwork below? http://www.playstationtrophies.org/news/news-14194-Saints-Row--Gat-Out-of-Hell-Announced--Is-a--Standalone-Expansion-.html Hmmmm, not what I was expecting... AndyKurosaki
Yeah, I was hoping for a new one. And it's yet another re-release. On the other hand, SR4 was fan-fucking tastic. So running around with a massive titted-half naked gangster girl on PS4 is alright by me.
Sly Reflex
I want SR4 to get super cheapness on steam first so I can play with Hendo and laugh my bollocks sore from all the stupidity I'm witnessing.
Nag
4 lost it for me a bit, I don't think I used a car in the entire game... it's not gonna happen but I'd like to return to semi normality.
Nag
With Volition announcing Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell as a 'standalone expansion' for Saints Row IV on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, it stands to reason that Saints Row IV will be making its way to new-gen platforms. Which is exactly what the developer has just confirmed at PAX. That's right; Saints Row IV will be the latest in a long line of remastered games coming to PS4 and Xbox One, with 'Saints Row IV: Re-Elected' heading to new-gen consoles in January 2015, alongside the Gat Out of Hell expansion. You can read up on that (if you haven't already) here. Both Saints Row IV: Re-Elected and Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell will be out in January 2015. Gat Out of Hell will also be bundled with Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, which is good. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/news/news-14195-Saints-Row-IV-Heading-to-PS4-and-Xbox-One-as--Saints-Row-IV--Re-Elected-.html
Uncle Dokuro
Day one buy! Shame you can't custom create your character.
Nag
Day one buy! Shame you can't custom create your character. You'll be able to do that in the Remaster, Just not the add on.
AndyKurosaki
Yeah cars soon became pretty pointless. Why drive when you could run faster than any car, and jump over buildings while you're at it. Stupidly fun though, as the series always is.
Uncle Dokuro
This. Looks. Epic. <iframe width="853" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/5fteDOwbT3Q" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Sly Reflex
I don't understand how the SR games can keep getting more and more mental. There has to be a point where they can't push the madness any further.
Jimboxy
They're keeping high voltage in business.
Craymen Edge
Love the last couple of SR games. Gat is such a shit character, though. I'd rather not have to play as one of the existing cast, that just seems weird.
DANGERMAN
according to gaf it's going to be $20, so about £13, if it's a decent length I could see myself picking it up. Same as you though, I'm neither itching for a new Saints game nor a huge Gat fan
AndyKurosaki
I love Saints Row, it's proper mental and doesn't give a fuck. Sly's right though, there's only so far you can do that before you become ridiculous. Which for SR would genuinely take some doing.
