  1. all the wii love has gone....i still love mine, but i did only get mine in april so i'm working through the back catalogue, metroid is ace, galaxy is ace, smash brothers is ace. I just wish the online play was as easily implemented as liv, friend codes are such a broken system, i was playing smash bros online with a mate the pther day, ha to text him to see if he was on, then as there's no way of chatting we were texting whilst playing, not exactly as much of a social thing as xbox live!!!

    Psychonauts

I had the same thing but I still managed. Do you know why? Commitment that's why. I said I was going to do something and I did it (sort of) I didn't quit when things got tough, bleeting about VGA cables and having to lift a 360 with my puny girl arms and do you know why that is, I haven't got puny girl arms I've got man arms. The kind of arms you get through commitment and hard work, not giving up because you have to unplug something. You're both exactly what's wrong with this country and frankly, are worse than Hitler though it's not just a case of unplugging my xbox cables, it's more a case of booting my girlfriend out of the living room, moving my xbox downstairs and keeping her away from her beloved reality tv shows and living tv long enough to play some games this is the main reason i never get to play any wii

    *nix

google tools has spyware doctor in it for free, top quality free spyware action, iused to use zonealarm as a firewall, til i realised how much of a resource hog it it, if you connect through a router then there should be a firewall built into it, other than that everything that ed's said. Also registry mechanic is a useful program to have

cocks, completely forgot about this, haven't even started, I'll crack on this week with it all and jimbo you can get a driver from the windows site so you can use the 360 controller with your pc, easy peasy in fact it's here just plug the charge cable into a usb port and you're good to go as a wired controller

    *nix

i've installed windows from a usb stick, it's a bit fiddly though use this i used that to install it on my eee (no cd rom drive on an eee)....though i did take it off again as it doesn't run well on it!!!!
  9. Fahrenheit would be fun, i played it a little bit when it came out, and then never again, enjoyed what i saw though
  10. i'm confused, are we doing psychonauts then for the first game,or is a game extravaganza!
  11. i'll jump on the psychonauts train...if i can find my copy, when i last looked i only had an empty case
  12. i dunno bout the kotor games in under 20 hours though, i've played through the first one twice, first time was about 45 and second time about 35!!!!! i'd be up for this, do you reckn we'll settle on a game, or will we just chat about it for ages, then forget about it!?! xbox or 360 games are better for me as i can get to the 360 easily (wii is in the living room and my missus always watched reality tv on it the tele)

    *nix

i use linux, but only coz it comes already installed on my eee.it is a bit of a headache to use,no way near as simple as windows, and having to install everything from the console is a bit much...having said that though,it's very satisfying when everything eventually works, but maybe that's the geek in me speaking
  14. the last time i played hardcore team deathmatch it all went horribly wrong, i forgot friendly fire was on, had martyrdom set up on everything and killed my own team mates about a million times, my headset wasn't working so i couldn't apologise, then everyone started team killing me and then i got kicked, not fun but yeah it is enjoyable, when you're not being team killed for being a muppet
  15. i don't think that code resets the cache,it removes all downloaded updates for games. there was a cache clearing method that was used to speed up oblivion load times, something like hitting x as the game loads up,can't quite remember though. i may be wrong though

    Bioshock 2

i had a weird relationship with bioshock,i was convinced i didn't really enjoy it when i played it..but i'd have really long sessions playing it,and when i wasn't playing it i'd really want to be,one of the few games i actually finished. also i keep nearly buying it to play again,i can't work it out
  20. i've got one too, sound quality is ace,tho i sometimes have to speak up a little bit for mic to pick it up. i do prefer it to the wired one though
  21. there's at least one tv screen outside the tv station in that level, upstairs in one of the buildings earlier on

audacity is a great little program, and it's free

    iTunes

it'll probably be ripped as an aac file if it went straight into itunes, media player won't play these, which is nice, you'll need something to convert them from aac -> mp3 to import them into media player try this audacity ftw
  24. Assassins creed for sure, tis a lot of fun, i really couldn't get on with dead rising, and the bloke runs like some sort of retarted monkey, whereas Altair runs sublimely (and can run up walls)
