Ohh. So Flower, Sun & Rain is not very good then or is it Edge's monthly joke review. Fable II seems to be in the running for that title too...
-
I plan on getting it. After Christmas probably, unless I can convince Santa to bring me it. I have been good.
-
For now I've deleted her stuff and told her to do it again. I'll bear that audacity thing in mind for the future though.

I managed to move the file after some messing around but the Media Player didn't recognize it, it just did nothing while the progress bar along the bottom moved. Cheers anyway.

Does anyone know how to move music ripped from a CD onto iTunes to the Windows Media Player? I let my Aunt use the computer for her MP3 player but she went and put a load of Pussycat Dolls and Nickelback on my iTunes instead of the Media Player which I told her to do, I thought it would be a simple process of moving it over since it's not downloaded music. Will it not move over since iTunes creates MP4 files or something like that?..

Yeah, but the FES edition has extra content. As for then shooting themselves, it unlocks their inner beasties for some reason, a reason you will find out if you play this little master piece.

Although the PSP is quite an expensive system (but you've bypassed that ) I find all the games to be reasonable price. You just need to go to any website or store that sells games and there is often great stuff for £15 or under, you often see both GTA games for a tenner and Locoroco would likely be a similar price.

I've decided on (for the 360 atleast): Dead Space GoW2 Mirrors Edge and maybe CoD5.. (a mate of mine is getting it and he'll need a partner *shakes fist* ) Tomb Raider and Left 4 Dead Lips... (Again, not really my choice.. I'm forced to buy it.. Honest, stupid casual gamer friends *shakes fist intensely*). I really want PoP too but going through that list I think I'll get it during the summer drought with Fallout 3.. And maybe Banjo too.

Yay! Another has seen the light. I've ranted about this game to people before, admittedly not in this thread so much, sometimes I feel like I'm wasting my breath, but it is a very special game and should be played by everyone at some point. While the Mario games beat it hands down on a technical level Psychonauts is something else. It brings out a level of character rarely seen in games, exploring the minds of strange and insane people (and fish) creates the most sureal and interesting enviroments around.

Thats all well and good but with Fire Emblem an FF Tactics taking up any SRPG time I have then as good as this probably is, I doubt I'll start another.

Rolling on a ball was on I-Ninja too. It's solely this game that makes me want Brutel legend so much.

If I wanted to get anywhere, none of them! Pfft. If this don't work I don't know what would. <param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344">I can't think of anymore for another podcast to be honest. I don't have anything from the 16bit era anymore so I can only think of the obvious ones... I'll come up with something.

Shut it Hendo! I'm trying to convince myself I don't need this game.

No, I can see plenty of wannebe game designers seeing this as a god send. As long as they are uploading their work it means a very long and interesting game for everyone else.

Hey all you folk who like to import DS games, Nintendo has a message. Fuck you! Just when I was warming to the idea of it. I think I'll be keeping the Lite. Atleast existing games still work I suppose.

To my surprise, Brawl didn't really do it for me either. I didn't dissapoint me, I just didn't have time for it. I appreciate the amount of content that went in as it dwarfs other games. It really could of done with a lag free online mode with voice chat, it's not a complex game and it's only four players so the lag is pretty unforgivable. For a modern game to have such focus on multiplayer and muck it up isn't good. My friends weren't interested for local multi and the single player drags, the entertainment in it for me was then limited. Now as for Nintendo and the Wii generally, well I have just come to except that the games coming out for it won't be 'hardcore' games, fact. The controls are to vague and loose for anything that requires quick reactions and it doesn't have the processing power to create the kind af AI we are coming to expect. Many of the games that come out have no depth. It's like it has the same problem as the PSP (except successful), I'm just not sure what I want out of it. There is great games for it and more to come but these are just things we've already seen before but with added waggle, I'm not against that it's just not the revolution I was expecting, the revolution is their marketing.

After whatching the 1up show that featured this I am now curious about this. I usually don't have much interest in creation games as I honestly prefer games to be made for me, I wouldn't know where to start on how to make a well designed level. What I didn't consider untill now was the amount of game there potentially is, literally millions of levels are available, most of them pish probably but if you can find a way of sorting the wheat from the chaff then there will be loads of content available. As much as my wallet will hate me I might also be getting a Little Big Planet player too.

To supply some kind of justafacation for my choices. Halo 3: What Hendo pretty much said. Even though the Halo games are just a collection of all the good FPS ideas I find the soundtrack quite special and the strongest thing going. Stomping around diving behind cover while the monk's chant along in the background takes the game out of your usual alien blasting. Persona 3: I like the kookyness in this one, it's one of those games where I might just let the intro roll as it's great for setting the scene, not much of an explanation, I just like it. FF7 That version you played was very nice but the full orchestral score version is chilling, I used to just stand around on the map screen and listen to that one, it's truly epic. And your right about FF music being varied, it's a world hopping game so music changes with where you are at from the industrial music of Midgar to traditioal Japanese music that is played when in Wutai. And Less Talk More Rokk is awesome.

I'll listen when I get home, looking forward to it. Oh, and and the last one was great too, didn't get round to posting any feedback and I can't remember if i had any beef with it. Just remember that it was good.

My friend was having similar problems but I told him it is probably because his dad was using the internet at the same time as he was online but after talking to SmallOfBooty from the GTM forum it seems he and a few others had problems too. I haven't personally but it seems to be fine now.

I think the only critacism without nitpicking would be the controls. They work fine on earlier levels but once some actual platforming comes into play things get fiddly. Flicking the remote to jump isn't always responsive and sometimes you unwillingly stick to a wall then a gentle movement in your wrist launches your blob away from where you want to be. The slow moving camera isn't good either, as most missions are timed sometimes you just stand there wrestling the camera in position for your next jump. Maybe I wasn't expecting some slightly accurate platforming and maybe it's my lack of spacial awareness getting me into trouble. But then it's because I on't play this sort of thing often is why I like it, it feels fresh since Mario Galaxy is the last thing like this I bought. I've finished the fourth level but I haven't touched the alternative missions so I think there is quite a bit of game in there, especially since a full level takes just under an hour, well it does for me, I just have to colour everything. It could be done in half the time.

Oops, I was meant to change my vote for last month, to slow I guess. For this month I hope to be playing. de Blob Bad Company ... I dunno about a third, Persona 3 FES Edition is the only thing I have on order for this month so I'll probably be trying to get that as game of the month again.
