I liked Splatoon 1 and didn’t like Splatoon 2 and I think I realised the difference was because Splatoon 1 was on the Wii U which was solely played by Nintendo idiots who’s only shooter experience is Metroid Prime which is a game that aims for you so even in a game about shooting the fucking floor they were terrible and I would terrorise these fuckers until they curled over and were crying in their blankie Then Splatoon 2 came out on Switch which was more popular and the competition opened up to everyone and now I was the idiot crying in their blankie and I didn’t like it 😭 I have not watched the Splatoon 3 demo but this is where I’m at in case you were wondering

I watched that video you posted @one-armed dwarf and here’s another one Looks like she has great pressure and left/right mix. Might not have the 4 way mix of Millia but makes up for it that doesn’t need knock down to set it up. Got some pretty good extra tools too in DP and command grab The range on those normals are so long as well. This character looks like it’s got a lot going for it, I think the only problem is it’s another light character in a game with crazy damage

I wasn’t especially anticipating this game but I remember it from some event or other and thought it looked cool. Like the art style, like the humour. But this week I found out it has that Animal Crossing side to it which, doesn’t kill my interest 100% but certainly reduces it. Have to see what the reviews are like.

Finished watching Strive top 8 but didn’t really enjoy it. Mostly because I don’t like any of the players (Especially Leffen) or many of the characters used. The only person I really wanted to see win was Bean because I like Chipp and I’ve seen him play before, he is fucking crazy. But first game of the top 8 and out. Also Happy Chaos was disappointing. I hate HC.

I can’t tell you what the mix ups are but her moves look like they’ve got lots of potential for fuckery. Also her moves are really silly which I also like. I watched it on mute at work so will also have to listen to what her theme song is. Also a big part of the decision to play her She looks cool, though, I like her.

I like her already. Maybe for S2 I should go with a S2 character

Yeah, all the class/arts/fusion stuff has lost me. I really don’t like complicated RPG’s I like it when they’re simple. This is far too much for me too understand

I think LK learned to play Golddick a bit just to figure out how to fight against him. Golddick is oppressive for everybody, but obviously on light characters he’s nightmare shit. If anything I think he’ll start playing Testament. I need to start learning a new character. I haven’t played the game at all in nearly 2 months. Once I clear my current backlog I’ll start playing Baiken or Ram, I think

Wawa won DBFZ Evo in both an impressive but also scrappy display. First he got pushed down to losers so had to work all the way through that and then got to final where he has to win 6 games. Starts by going down 2, wins the next 3 to reset the bracket and then I think he won 3-1 or something. Ridiculously tense and was so much fun to watch. However I think by the time they got to the finals it was 2am, he fought all the way through losers and I think the nerves got to both him and Nitro (The other guy in the finals) and both of them were dropping easy (easy for them) combos and all sorts. It got really scrappy. But he still did it. I think that means Wawa has won every major tournament at DBFZ this year.

LK couldn’t get in to top 96 by the sounds of it and he says he is quitting Millia lol He has a string of tweets talking about how the big struggle is pressure which I totally agree with. The best pressure in this game is strike/throw and high/low and Millia just not got it. Hopefully he picks up Baiken so I can learn some shit lol

Holy shit that’s amazing 🙂 Next gen versions? They’re never going to make a sequel 😕 EDIT: Oh wait I just saw a longer video that says there will be no more balance patches or characters, they think it’s as good as it can be. I guess that means the only way forward is a sequel!😁

That’s Wolverine just being a punk. I like that Cap is a literal Super Soldier and one of the greatest fighters in the world. Just in these classic Avenger’s stories he doesn’t have much to do action wise and he is written like a stick in the mud, pedantic, whiny bitch. Which doesn’t follow why everyone takes orders from him. But I like Cap’s place in Marvel Comic, it just doesn’t work here. If he’s feet aren’t firmly on the ground he doesn’t have anything to do

I realised one of the big problems with the Avengers and it’s that all their powers are the same. They all fly around shooting lasers out of their hands. All the lasers have different names. Repulser Rays, Hex Magic, Zero Energy, Bio Bolts, Photon Blasts, whatever the fuck Wonder Man does. Which just means they fly around shooting different coloured lasers from their hands. I think it’s part of why none of them feel cool and so many of them feel unnecessary. Because there’s no clear understanding or explanation of what is actually different about them. As opposed to the X-Men who (despite having too many psychics/telepaths) have largely distinct power sets which provides them roles/reasons to be on a team and an understanding what is happening when they use their powers. Even Justice League is better because they’re all the best at something. One of the only unique power sets on the team is Captain America who basically does nothing the whole comic because most of the threats are too big for him to punch. He just orders everyone around all the time and people call him “The greatest warrior” multiple times in comic but you never see it until right at the end. The absolute, biggest positive about this comic is Kang. He’s actually a really cool character. He comes off as a sincere threat, they address his power over time, how he uses it, his attitude to conquering, and it’s all pretty consistent with the other Kang story I’ve read Avengers Forever. He’s very cool. I would like to see a story where Kang fights Ultron

Finally finished Avenger’s Kang Dynasty and oof that’s a boring comic. It did pick up slightly in the second half for a bit, then descended in to explosive nonsense for the final 2 issues. The bit that is good (“good” in this case meaning not entirely boring) I spoiler below in case it’s used in a movie in 2 years time Apart from that though most of this comic is a snooze fest and hard to recommend for any reason Literally putting me to sleep by the end. I’ll be surprised if I remember much of this story in a week’s time 😴
