Finished this last night and got the platinum and thought it was great. I missed some of the older gadgets like the web bomb and the web mine, but the R1+X gadget is similar enough. I also loved Miles' abilities but thought Peter's were Ok. I've never liked the Iron Spider style metal arms. But overall the gameplay is better in every way. Web wings, side quests, counter move, enemy types, graphics, etc. The story was great as well. Especially the ending, it hit really hard and loved it. However overall I think I prefer the story from the first game. The symbiote suit has been done to death and even though there were cool new additions from the recent venom comics and the Kraven stuff was great, it still follows the same beats I expected it to go. The first game felt more original and and used much less common parts of Spider-Man to tell a great story. Kind of think the dialogue was funnier and sharper in the first game as well. SM2 was brilliant, though. Better gameplay but a bit more of a known quantity from a story perspective. Even if still done really well

Yes, it's very expensive. Especially for me because I had to buy a whole new system. I was looking at upgrading, but it seemed like i needed so many new components and then having to find someone to build it for me anyway I said fuck it. I also hit a savings goal last month while also thinking about what am I actually saving for. It's nice to be reasonably secure but what is the money actually for. Turns out video games is the answer

Hi I wanted to show quick that I got myself a new PC with 4090 as a christmas present to myself whoa Tried Portal RTX and was confused at first because it was freezing a lot. Then I realised I had it 4K native lol. Drop the resolution and yes it looks pretty sick. Going to restart RE4 Remake and continue Alan Wake 2 next. Just waiting to download. Now I just need a better monitor I think (And to look in to how to do cable management it's messy down here) but that can wait a until i see a good deal

I’ve been really excited for the new CoD but this is…boy. The thing is there’s video from USA’s COVID curfew of police threatening and using tear gas on civilians who are standing at their door. So technically this is realistic. But to show it off from presumably a heroic stand point is so tactless and tone deaf. It’s like in that other CoD game where they had “Hold X to pay respects”. Although that was funny this is thoughtless. How many thousands of people work on this game. How does something like this make it in

Need it? No. Want it? I know it’s not what you want but DF talking about how 4090 is kind of fucked up because it pushes the FPS so high in some cases it makes games worse lol. Sounds like you kind of have to turn any DLSS support off to try keep a lid on the 4090. Otherwise it’s got all that power + DLSS3 is trying to create even more frames and it’s just blowing the doors off some games (their example is Plague Tale 2 where it fucks up input lag)

@OCH Ant-Man being the first to meet Kang I think will be the MCU’s parallel to when Ant-Man met the Beyonders in Hickman’s Avengers - again everything building up this Secret Wars I think at the end of Ant-Man 3 we’ll get a scene like this where Ant-Man makes it back and runs to whoever the Avengers are right now and be like “Kang is coming”

Ant-Man is easily the weakest series of all their different things but I’ll say the trailer isn’t just good in comparison, it looks quite good full stop

Not for me. I will believe people if lots of stories come out, or a group of people are saying one thing, or if that 1 person has good, supporting evidence. But I don’t believe just one, disgruntled person on their own. Especially when the thing they’re moaning about is money.

It’s not the changing he’s mind part, it’s the bit where he is like ‘I will always back the individual over the corporation - for any claim.’ In the thread he is saying he would do it again and it’s just like fucking hell. I don’t know how to describe it. This stuff irritates me and as much as they like to ‘stick it to the man’ or whatever for any possible reason (and when justified for sure), but it’s good when the tables are flipped and they have to eat shit back.

That game was cool!

I dunno what to think anymore. In her latest statement she is saying the Bayonetta brand is worth $450 million excluding merchandise … Also she is now backtracking on her original comments, which is not a good look, saying she was offered $15,000. I don’t know voice acting but that sounds substantial and a big bump on what she got for Bayonetta 1 & 2. This is not a mega blockbuster game. The fact there is even a 3rd game at all is kind of a miracle. Also, the big thing for me is I think airing your shit like this in public is super unprofessional. Not enough money, don’t take the job, done. Calling people to boycott it for you? How long have they spent trying to make this game. This was clearly something that went through some kind of development hell. People want to see their work be liked and succeed. Because you’re not in it you try to tank the project? Get fucked, to be honest. There has to better ways of going about things than this.

Even though I’m full on Souls games I think Bloodbourne could do with one more go. It does everything better than regular Souls games except it has the same flaw that the first half is excellent, and then the second half is messy (though still not as messy as Souls games) Why I think it would be any different if they made a second one I dunno but hope that they would. Also shout out to Vanquish, Jet Force Gemini and Sonic Chronicles. That was a super cool game and ended on an interesting cliff hanger but I think the chance they ever do another one is a flat 1%

This how I know none of you are real Bloodbourne fans because you not say it. A sequel I would of liked is a sequel to DmC reboot. I really loved that game and it’s my favourite out of all the Devil May Cry games. Much better style.
