I started playing this today. Only got through 3 levels because the battery was dying in handheld mode. Hard to really say anything about it only after 3 levels. It looks nice, controls well, nothing really surprising so far. Is what it looks like. I really did run the battery all the way down before putting it back in the dock, though, so that’s a good sign I didn’t want to put it down

Think the trailer for B3 looks really cool (Minus the dub step, head ache inducing) but also actually really pumped for the remaster. B1 was a game that I remember being really quite addicted too

Rumour is Angelina Jolie is in talks to be in Marvel’s Eternals movie Deeper rumour is that really what she is in talks for is an X-Men movie She is a bit too old to be Emma Frost (Assuming Marvel is going to want to catch the teen/young 20’s version of the X-Men) but she certainly as the upper class/bitchy quality needed for it

Oh, they’re not in another universe, they’re definitely dead. But obviously it’s only for now. I think Infinity War is a film made almost purely out of shock value. I still think it’s good, but it’s definitely not in my top 5 MCU films anymore after the last time I watched it

Also I realised that this is one of those few times when the Avengers actually avenge something, usually they manage to stop the bad guys before the real bad tragedies happen I don’t care what anyone says I love superheroes

Those GRAW games were brilliant in their day. I was so disappointed when they did that reboot and it was just another cover based shooter

Pretty sure I’m their conference they said that last year on the test they were doing 1080p60 and when it launches that it will do 4K60. There was also a game mentioned in the conference that was 120fps but I don’t think it was 4K. Maybe that was Doom? I was wondering how pricing on this will work. Like if it’s not a box and you play it in a browser how do you pay for the Stadia portion? Is it going to be like a £200 log in which is effectively the ‘console price’ and then pay for games on top? I’m just making up that number, I haven’t pulled it from anywhere but it would feel very odd paying a big lump of cash for a log in screen and web links There’s already that feeling of when you buy digital you don’t have a tangible purchase so the value proposition feels worse. This would be a whole other level to that, I think

I have no idea what it will be about, but this could be big. I’ve been reading the newest Uncanny X-Men book and it’s...fine. Like the idea of Legion and X-Man fighting each other is cool but doesn’t really pan out in a meaningful way in the book. Then right as this series gets to bringing Cyclops and Wolverine back all the X-Men I like disappear into an alternate universe divided between like, 7 different new titles and why and who cares. I’m not reading them. I don’t know if this is going to replace that series, which I don’t hate the current book, but Hickman should really be allowed complete free reign over this corner of Marvel and just get to do whatever he wants without any other X-titles getting in the way of it. I’m very excited about this.

I’m not saying I will get them but out of interest what is a good reading order for the comics?
