We posted the exact same article at the exact same time... ? I had a theory a while ago that they fired him to look strong to the shareholders during the Fox acquisition. Now that everything is locked in place with a March 20th date confirmed for the merger (i.e. not possible to block anymore) I find it funny that Disney announce his return. This also explains why Disney have been 'unable to find a new director' for the movie. Can't say I'm not glad to see him back, I just hope it's better than Vol. 2.

Bed of Chaos and Nito have been vanquished! Sadly, so has the joyful Knight Solaire. He went crazy, attacked me, then killed himself by rolling off a bridge into the lava below like a graceful Terminator. Bed of Chaos was easy as fuck this time. When Mark and I did it last year it took us 22 attempts over an hour and a half, today I only died once against it. 5 minutes and done, RNGesus was on my side today for sure. Nito was another story, he took me much longer than I'd care to admit, I kept getting mobbed by the respawning enemies in the fight. On my last attempt I switched to the Crystal Halberd and destroyed him with minimum issues. If I play my cards right I'll have Gwyn, Lord of Cinder killed before lunch.

Official Avengers: Endgame poster is out. I love it. The marketing for Endgame has been fantastic so far, they're really not giving anything away. Sure, we know characters are coming back and getting sequels etc, but your average cinema goer who isn't interested in the behind the scenes stuff doesn't have a clue, so this is great.

Those figures are for Japanese physical sales only though, so it's probably comparative to 4 when you take digital into consideration. It's absolutely killing it on Steam at the minute, and looking at active users is projected to have sold well over 3 million copies opening weekend. It's Capcom's second biggest seller on PC (Monster Hunter World is still the king), and it debuted at number 1 in the UK and Japanese game charts. Then you just need to look at the total sales for all previous DMC games Those Steam sales alone are on par with total sales of previous games, so when the console sales figures get released DMC 5 will most likely be the most successful one in the series. It's doing fine.

Up to Ornstein and Smough and I can't do them for the life of me. First phase isn't too bad, I can get Smough down without much trouble, but when Ornstein absorbs him it all goes to shit. Hoping that because I've got one phase down it shouldn't be long before I work out the second, but fucking hell, it's got me so angry I'm shaking. Still determined to beat the cunts without Jolly Co-operation though, I just need to sort my dodges out.

I really want to play through Devil May Cry 3 again but I don't have it on PlayStation 4 and now I'm really regretting all the times I saw the HD collection on sale and thought to myself "I'll just pick it up next time" but never did.
