I saw it in tesco today for £29.99. Was severley tempted... but managed to hold back as i need to save my money for the moment. Besides i wanted to know what it was lik first When i dont need to save money, i reckon i'll be snapping up this and Wario ware for a cool £29.99 each edit: Hmm just read that eurogamer review... they stole one of Bill baileys jokes near the beginning!

Here's a thought: Maybe the delay in online games is actually genius on Nintendo's part - bear with me here - but maybe they knew despite the amount of consoles they would have for launch there would still be mass shortages? and that a lot of the online games wouldnt arrive straight away because they needed to be perfect. What im saying is that Nintendo may have given us this long wait so that when we do get online, there will be many other people to enjoy it with. Imagine getting your Wii on launch day, only to find there are only a few other people who have one, and also have an Internet connection.

Well ive suggested a poll, so look out for it! Its: "should Nintendo release Super Metroid on the Virtual Console?" Will be interesting to see if they use it, and if they do, if they take any notice of the results

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Yes, i know, im a bit behind everyone... ... now im gonna see if i cant finish Majora's Mask, providing the game doesnt crash all the time again...

Well that game certainaly looks off its tits!

I heard something about not being able to copy save files onto a wii that had never played that game before, so i assumed that it would be possible if you booted the game up to create a save file and then replace said save file with the one you wanted to put on in the first place... This is just what i assumed, havent actually needed to try it tho. Let me know if it works

Again Sega are the ones at least trying with the VC... come on Nintendo what are you playing at? Okay you wanna spread out the 'classics' but why not release some others in the meantime. A Boy and his Blob? Kid Icarus?

Got this through the post yersterday, and i love it! Only like 2 hours into it tho... should be 3 but i got carried away exploring, died, realised i hadnt saved at all and had to start the game from the beginning!! whoops! :laugh: Ahh, if you didnt laugh you'd cry... Reckon im gonna have to take my DS to work and play on me lunch hour...

I suppose if thats the way you wanna do it, it'd have to be done tournament style... although maybe a league type thing would be cool? Everyone plays each other twice for points? Table could be updated on the site then the top four could have a one race play off?

Ive just got my copy of FF3, and its awesome... but is it worth me getting Children of Mana, or Magical Starsign? I like the look of both, but CoM doesnt seem to be all that from what you guys are saying...

Another band who do Nintendo covers are 'The Advantage' They rule! The Mario 2, and Mega Man : Wileys Fortress tunes they do are amazing! Will have to check these NESkimos out

hmm... sounds like an interesting game... but the main question on my lips is do you reckon you'll be able to transfer your 'mon to another game? e.g pearl? cos if so i might have to get this game just to complete my pokédex without cheating! Oh mew, you will be mine, oh yes... even if i have to get an action replay...

Yea the great thing about emulation on the DS over the PSP is the DS has no internal memory, so it all has to be saved onto you cart or whatever. Granted you wont be able to emulate much more than SNES quality games but thats enough right? Plus the DS wont have firmware updates like the PSP does. The only reason i havent got one of them cards is cos when i was researching them i heard people saying that some cards run at different speeds, (i think) basically people said that with some of the cards you may have trouble running more complex SNES games... i.e. The likes of Starfox that had extra proicessing on board the cart... But other people said it was fine If anyone knows better please correct me, and ill end up buying one... errm... but not for emulating

Yeah but you can trade yer mon to the DS from Fire Red / Leaf Green (an you can trade from the other GBA ones to that) so seeing as DS pokemon will be online / Wi-Fi im going to so OWN everyone! - yes illdog im looking at you

Talkin of freezing, i have the Zelda collectors edition for the GC which i got off ebay awhile ago, mainly cos i never got to play majora's mask... thing is i dunno if its a dodgy disc or cos of a bad convertion to the gamecube but my copy of MM has an annoying knack of crashing when im in the middle of doing something... needless to say i havent played on it for months as it pissed me right off! Might re-try it on my Wii an see if it still does it...

Yeah GBA RPG's would open up a new layer of cake for you to eat. All the remakes of the early Final Fantasy's, plus FF Tactics Advance - its not your usual FF affair, but really good and has at least 100 hours of playtime... But i have to say im rather dissapointed that nobodys mentioned pokémon, being the Jewel that it is. Absolutely brilliant. Somehow it manages to be a simpler version of Final Fantasy but is possibly more fun. I suggest going for Leaf Green / Fire Red on the GBA (But to you Fedex Fire Red cos i need someone to own that version so i can trade ) Or wait for Pearl / Diamond on the DS. The games themselves are as big as you want - you could probably blitz them in under 80 hopurs at a push, but ive racked up over 200 hours on Leaf Green alone... ... errm... maybe i shouldnt admit that in public! :silly:

There is multiple types of memory carts for the DS, one is the Supercard: http://www.gameboy-advance.net/nintendo_ds/nds-supercard.htm and there is another in the form of a GBA cart which comes in various sizes, but is quite expensive as its a rare kind of writeable media. Obviously these kinds of products arent official as theyre mainly used to play ROMs, was going to get one myself at one point but heard there were some that didnt work very well and wernt easy to use... *ahem* not to mention downloading ROMs is illegal :whistle: As Hendo said, i dont see any reason why Nintendo would have a problem letting you download demo's or VC games to your DS as they'd be erased when you switch the machine off, so you could only keep it as long as you have power in your DS... although you could save its energy by keeping it closed or keeping it on a mains supply

So its well worth the points? I was a bit weary of it as Nintendo relesed the nes versions of stuff instead of the arcade versions (Donkey Kong...) Might well get this to try and calm my shoot em up-ness after not bein g able to get probotector
