I wasn't being an arse with the oled comment last night, I know you yourself have mentioned they don't deal with 30fps very well... to the best of my knowledge I'm one of the few people on this site who games on a Samsung Qled... seriously it's been smooth as butter for me in graphics mode so far.

It seemed like there was an actual reason for PS4 Pro/One X last gen with the uptake in 4k tv's... that's not there this time around so I'd have to say no to an upgrade. I already feel that these machines aren't being allowed to pull their weight yet so it kinda doesn't make sense to me to shell out another 500 quid for some slightly shinier surfaces and a few extra fps.

That most be an oled thing then because it's definitely not feeling like that how I'm playing the game.

OK, I wasn't too far off completing the Grasslands and meeting (and beating) the Midgardsormr... very, very messily. And I think that's going to be a pattern with this game... I'm brute forcing things, I have no finesse when it comes to the combat and being as there's even more going on than Remake I think things are going to get very messy indeed. Anyway, on to Chapter 3.

Almost 13 hours in... still in Chapter 2 mucking around in the Grasslands.🤣

Fair enough... I've just opened up Chocobo usage and stuff (and Chadley)... I've no idea if I'm supposed to be trying to do all these Grassland icons now or not, I've no idea how long we're going to be here. 😅

Longer answer... Sifu really isn't my style of game, I'm guessing it's mainly reaction based and is meant to be pretty tough (I'm aware they patched an easier difficulty but whatever) it all points to something that in the short term would bore me and long term piss me off. Forspoken is a third person action/adventure... pretty much my bread and butter nowadays. I just don't want to spend cash on it.😄

Yeah, ever since the 360/PS3 there's been no real difference... except for exclusives.🤣 Wonder if Nintendo would begin to lose their identity if they published on a Sony/ Microsoft machine.

I've never been a fan of exclusives... but I'm well aware a single gaming platform probably wouldn't work for various different reasons. I'd also agree with @HandsomeDead that this is an absolutely worst case scenario (most of these opinions probably will be) and that, so it seems, PlayStation as a brand is probably too big to fail now... there'd have to be some form of seismic shift for that name to dissappear. I think the bigger problem for Sony now seems that most of their games seem to be following a very similar pattern and there's not enough diversity in their first party offerings.

Not sure if that's still an Xbox thing only or not... I'm digital so can't test.
