Sly Reflex
I nuked the original post to get around the editing issues, so sorry if you were looking for that. It's gone. At least I can get on with continuing the thread if it now works.

Bob
I have the same. Although all my games are sitting in my Zelda hat. That and there are only about 20 something of them.
Hendo
I'm up for that, a lot of those games I have. I'll make a list and any that I don't have or have already played of yours, I'll randomly pick one of mine. We can do this!

Sly Reflex
I'm hoping the luck of the draw is kind to me. Can you imagine it hitting me with something like Fallout New Vegas off the bat? Hopefully it hits me with short and sweet things, or stuff I've started but never finished. H, some of the things you've said I don't have in my list are in my list. I dropped some things like DLC packs for games. I could really do with going and finishing the last DLC for Borderlands 2. Too many games! etc

Hendo
Proteus will take you about 30 minutes, get that knocked off the list quick. Me and Sly will go through Awesomenauts with you, always a good excuse to play that.
dante76
Thats a very northern carpet. The kind you only find in a pub....
Sly Reflex
Busted. I live in a pub. Actually I don't, that's just the winter rug. I put a smaller one down in summer. I lead an exciting life. The first game has been drawn. Sleeping Dogs. A bigger game than I was wanting, but random is random. Is it doable in a week? Do the people who get games with gold want to play along as well? I don't know. I just know that it is on and the game is installing as I type this post. I'll get on playing it tomorrow, unless monster hunting is go.
Sly Reflex
Scratch that, I've started already. It looks like it's gonna be a good 'un!
Hendo
You could bust through it in a couple of days. By that I mean same as any open-world game , stick to the main quest unless you go OCD for the collecting stuff. I'm gonna carry on with Tomb Raider and fire up Mirror's Edge. Craymen Edge
Sleeping Dogs was great fun. I really liked the setting, and the way it focused on hand to hand fighting over guns. It's not as long as you've come to expect for an open world game. Raptr says I put in about 24 hours. That includes 2 DLCs, and a few sidequests. Sly Reflex
So, these guys have basically looked at Chinatown Wars and Batman, liked what they saw and mashed them together. Having the game mechanic in there of ramming cars off the road just works and is more fun that outright outrunning pursuers. Also, powersliding buses! Hendo
In answer to your question about what happens if something big like Fallout comes up and you get sucked in, I would personally over-rule the next few weeks of randomness and purposely pick out bite-size games like the FTL's or Super Hexagon's for the weeks after until you're done. Sly Reflex
I considered doing something like that. It really depends how long the game is. I really want to pull them out as they come out. I did consider throwing games back into the pot if I didn't finish with them, maybe games like Fallout that have a lot of content and DLC will benefit from me leaving sessions between playing other things so I don't get burnt out. Sleeping Dogs as a hell of a lot of things to do. Surprisingly it does them all quite well too. Besides the camera spinning around wildly when you go to run people over and a few WTF moments fighting where ragdolls have flung up in the air I can't really see any problems with it at all. To think this game nearly never saw the light of day.

Sly Reflex
It's a good game, there's plenty to do in it. I could imagine finding all the collectables would take a good while if you did it blind.
Sly Reflex
I sing the English bits to this song every single time it's on the ingame radio. The song has burrowed into my mind and it won't leave. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEbIe06U4FA&feature=share&list=PLyN3MV3YIHPlfpl6C_xWs3o1gne9nAk8b&index=
Sly Reflex
Sleeping Dog put down! That was a pretty rad game. It surprised me how visceral and violent it was at points too, I just wasn't expecting stuff like that to be in game.
