Craymen Edge
This looks pretty interesting. Got an Ico vibe to it. The Girl And The Robot
radiofloyd
Yeah that looks cool. Sly you should probably add the following games to the list: The Long Dark Night in the Woods Obduction
radiofloyd
The working title of Project Eternity has gone; from here on out, Obsidian's Kickstarted role-playing game will be known as Pillars of Eternity. With the name change comes a first proper teaser video for the game. A montage of gameplay clips shows heroes exploring caves, ruins and temples, and fighting against rat people, giant spiders and evil humans. Spells are flung and steel is clashed. The release date is simply 2014, on PC (Windows, Linux) and Mac. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-12-10-obsidian-renames-project-eternity-releases-a-proper-video http://youtu.be/HKoDTzea79Y You must gath - Sly you should probably add the following games to the list: The Long Dark Night in the Woods Obduction Those plus The Mandate, which is possibly the most successful kickstarter by nobodies/not relying on nostalgia that I've seen. And Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse is now out.

Craymen Edge
Don't know if it's been on this thread before, but Kickstarted Science Fiction RPG/Adventure/Thriller 'Consortium' is out now on Steam. It sounds interesting from this preview on RPS: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/11/22/impressions-consortium-2/
radiofloyd
Yeah that looks interesting, just waiting to read some reviews. Although there are so many indie games now that a lot of them aren't being reviewed...
radiofloyd
Anyone here back Broken Age? Craymen Edge
Banner Saga is out now on Steam. We're seeing a lot of progress on Kickstarted games recently, what with Banner Saga, Consortium, Broken Age all launching. Wasteland 2 and Grim Dawn came out in early access recently, too. DANGERMAN
I was toying with buying Banner Saga while it's still cheaper on Steam. I've got a couple of quid in my steam wallet, but I might just hold off on the rpgs until I've caught up a bit

Also you might as well move The Banner Saga to the released list, since it's out today. Will definitely pick up TBS, probably at a 50% off though. Anyone interested in Consortium should probably read this: http://steamcommunity.com/games/264240/announcements/detail/1387407098673485374

radiofloyd
Kickstarter had a quiet finish to the year but exploding into life now, already some potentially great games that are sailing towards their funding targets: Kingdom Come: Deliverance La Mulana 2 Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians Kingdom Come has made almost £200,000 in a day, which is pretty incredible for an unknown studio. Although you can see the work which has gone into the game already, so it's not surprising. Also, there's a new trailer for Shovel Knight, which just looks beautiful. I'm sure having David Hayter onboard will snag a fair number of fans, but I absolutely hate his Solid Snake voice, so hopefully he has a bit of range. Sly Reflex
Kickstarter hacked. On Wednesday night, law enforcement officials contacted Kickstarter and alerted us that hackers had sought and gained unauthorized access to some of our customers' data. Upon learning this, we immediately closed the security breach and began strengthening security measures throughout the Kickstarter system. No credit card data of any kind was accessed by hackers. There is no evidence of unauthorized activity of any kind on your account. While no credit card data was accessed, some information about our customers was. Accessed information included usernames, email addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers, and encrypted passwords. Actual passwords were not revealed, however it is possible for a malicious person with enough computing power to guess and crack an encrypted password, particularly a weak or obvious one. As a precaution, we strongly recommend that you change the password of your Kickstarter account, and other accounts where you use this password. To change your password, log in to your account at Kickstarter.com and look for the banner at the top of the page to create a new, secure password. We recommend you do the same on other sites where you use this password. For additional help with password security, we recommend tools like 1Password and LastPass. We’re incredibly sorry that this happened. We set a very high bar for how we serve our community, and this incident is frustrating and upsetting. We have since improved our security procedures and systems in numerous ways, and we will continue to do so in the weeks and months to come. We are working closely with law enforcement, and we are doing everything in our power to prevent this from happening again. Kickstarter is a vibrant community like no other, and we can’t thank you enough for being a part of it. Please let us know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. You can reach us at accountsecurity@kickstarter.com. Thank you, Yancey Strickler Kickstarter CEO
