This has a very high bullshit:truth ratio.

It looks a bit rubbish and fragile.

The logo looks fake.

Why would Nintendo announce it now when it's due out in Q3 09? The DSLite was announced and released in a small timeframe AFAIK.

So yeah, I call shennanigans.

I seriously can't believe people on Youtube actually believe it...

The people that make the video are apparently going to have a contest to win 'the two consoles they're getting before the Japanese launch!'. Yeah, cos that would happen... :D

People are so gullible.

Thats SO fake.

The text doesn't even doesn't read like its propper nintendo PR speak.

Pretty good concept though.

In reality it would turn out to be MUCh thicker and probably larger than the lite whenits fully expanded so i don't really see the point.

PLUSS if it was an official advert for it they would have used a real DS not a CG render... or if they did use a CG render they would have used one that looked real!

Yeah, me too. If that top screen was somehow a hologram though, and couldn't get shut inside the shell... that might be cool...

oh and it came with free porn installed.

Not real!! if ninty release another DS mk 3 at most it will just be thinner and slightly smaller, no way will it be as compact as the CG in this video, it wouldn't last 5 mins!!!

As for the Gamecube advance ive seen that before and ninty quashed it back then saying it wouldn't happen, although would be nice to know what ninty's next project is be it next gen wii or next gen DS with cube graphics maybe??

I'd imagine we won't be that far off seeing the DS's replacement TBH. I doubt they'll be replacing the Wii for ages yet.

Really?

How many itterations of the gameboy or gameboy advance were there?

And how far apart were they released... it feels like they only just released the lite...

The GBA was replaced by the DS after about 4 years, although the GBA lasted for a while after.

The GBA Micro was released at pretty much the end of it's lifespan, so they might do that again with the DS.

If the DS is going to last the same timeframe as the DS, it might be replaced next year perhaps?

In other news, it's teh Wii 2!111111

I think that "new" DS looks awesome! Shame it's a dirty lie, and not even a convincing one.

That "firstforinfo" person isn't even trying!

A shockingly bad hashed together "Mario Galaxy DS":

New Zelda for Wii:

Both of which won't be seen until E3 2009. Really! Wow, I can't wait!
