The games I have been playing are LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias and I think it is very good but I'm stuck which I think is a bit annoying but I still think its very good. The other game I played aswell is Mario & Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story which I think is very good and fun and very funny, it makes me laugh alot because it is well writted. Honourable mention goes to the Bayonetta demo on the Japanese store, I must of played it three times in a row learning the combat system. I think its so awesome I can't find the words to explain it, I don't think words exist to explain it. The only way I can express my love for Bayonetta is to rapidly rub my thighs in a Vic Reeves-esque way.

I was to put something in here, For over a year now I've mostly been rocking out to hard rock mostly because that is how much I rock. I've slowly been getting fed up of it and while just listening to my iPod on shuffle a Futureheads song came on, not even a song I like that much but it was a of revalation to be honest, I ended up shoving on the whole album and bobbed along to some harmonized indie pop, I forgot how well put together their stuff is. Gonna check them out beyond the first album next me thinks. Also been listening to Bat for Lashes latest effort, all I have to say is its better than the first.. and she's a nice girl.

I've been checking it every Friday for the last two months, mostly because I'm still waiting for Cave Story. WHERE THE FUCK IS FUCKING CAVE STORY?!?!

It would be nice for WiiWare to have it in its crown but it is a game worth playing and on XBLA teh hardcore will be more likely to pick it up.

I thought the strike was something to do with the workload, to much of it for the amount of folk employed (like alot of businesses at the moment I guess), though I did get that from someone who often talks shit, that'll teach me to listen. Anyhows, my Brutal legend has been despatched but since its from The Hut it'll take a while, combine that with the strike I probably won't see it for a month. Ho-hum.

I like what I've seen about this. I think I'll try the trial at some point, but I don't want another Lucidity on my hands. I'm too poor for that kind of malarky.

Little issues that the first had have been dealt with and its just a more polished and better designed game. Part of me says you should go through the first as its still a good game but then again if you did start with the second I think you'd be okay, you do start almost fully powered but little hints do pop up about older abilities so yeah, starting with the second should be fine too.

I know that WiiWare takes second fiddle to PSN and XBLA but this is right up there with their finest, even if you're HD reliant I'd say its still worth a punt, its pretty accomplished.

You lot are a tough bunch sometimes. I'm nearly three hours in now and I've come across some really inspired puzzles now, almost Braid-esque, well I got that forehead slapping followed by a clever dick feeling, the first game was a bit of a cake walk in comparison, I know that because in this one I finally know what those three wind symbols mean in the H.U.D, they're lives and since I never lost one until WotM that means its scientifically harder. Well, it isn't really. I just keep having accidents with the harsher boulder physics.

I think it even says in game that he recomends playing it with the face buttons, it is a homage to shooters in the digital age after all. I really liked it, the music is great. That level with the eyes is as about as close to being in an early seventies state of mind as I'll ever get.

I ordered it on Steam a few weeks back, I don't usually play this sort of thing but I thought it would be nice place to start. I checked my specs and it should run on my PC, it'll be a close one but I'm risking it. EDIT: Good news, it works for me.

Some more LostWinds turned up on Friday just gone which is nice. Its been tidied up alot too, its longer (so I hear), there's a map now so getting lost isn't as much as an issue now and dealing with blobs takes more than just doing a downward wind on them. One, they are mostly elemental and you also have to really ram them against something to kill them. There is a bit more meat to the story now and its helped along with more little cinematic bits. S'good so far, the only thing that bothers me is the controls have been tinkered with and for some reason they seem harder, you have to be more accurate than the first game where you waft about. 1000 Wii points (approx £7) for this one.

Double post, like. Played the Bayonetta now.. But I want Bayonetta more.. I've just made myself a Japanese PSN account and started to download it, will try it myself laters.

My Gaming Week. Played some Halo in multiplayer witha few fine members here, Illdog had troubles but who gives a fuck about him? I had a good time. I've had a few goes at House of the Dead: Overkill again, mostly with a Wiimote in one hand a beer in the other, seriously, the Wii is amazing at times. Scribblenauts and Lucidity have also been played, Scribblenauts I am really enjoying at this point, I can see the controls becoming a problem but at the moment they are workable, Lucidity I'm having some trouble with, its lovely and all but some design choices don't sit well with me. I also grinded a little on Persona 4, bloody JRPG's eh? Hows Tales of Whatever coming, Hendo?

That Conan game was more than a little inspired by God of War. Isn't imitation the most sincere form of flattery? Though I have to say that GoW, DMC and NG are all different beasts. Its like saying Halo is just like Battlefield, on basic level they are alike in reality they're not.

So Jack thinks that these prostitutes are horrid old demons and he's gonna sort them out? I've never seen From Hell but that sort of makes sense but while that sounds interesting I'm unsure of using Jack the Ripper, I know any press is good press but... y'know. It could get messy.

Doing that to a real-life twat is unbelievable, literally. Hence I'm calling bullshit on it, atleast I hope because that really is a proper stupid idea. I mean proper stupid.

And to think I was so close to getting it. If they ever discount it I'll look into it.
