  1. @DANGERMAN They're playing a selection of Game Pass games right now, then Forza Horizon 4 and FIFA 19 to finish, and there's a round of Mastermind in between. @DifferentClass Yeah man it's crazy.
  2. Hope you don't mind the self promotion here but it's for a good cause and to be honest I've been waiting to share this with you all. I've been working my ass off behind these scenes on this all week and would really appreciate it if you could give it a watch and a share, etc. We're live from now till 9pm so pop in when you can. https://www.twitch.tv/gameforgood2018
  3. Just a head's up. Someone logged into my Steam account last night. I got the email at 1:30am while I was at a party saying here's you access code for a new device. Nothing seems to have been tampered with, but I've changed my password. Might want to do yours just in case.
  4. I’ve just finished 3 out of 12 chapters and am having a lot of fun with it. Not sure if I’d pay full price for it myself if I’m honest, but certainly if you catch it in a sale. It’s like Yakuza with a sketchy cel shaded art style with even more insane combat.
  5. Fist of the North Star on PS4 is fucking mental and everyone should play it.

@Jimbo Xiii Season 1 is fantastic, 2 is good but not as good as 1, 3 is rubbish, 4 is as good as the first season and the rest get better and better.

@Chimay I 100% agree with that SoA statement. 4 onwards just gets better and better.

    Cross-Play with PS4 is happening! https://blog.us.playstation.com/2018/09/26/extended-fortnite-cross-play-beta-launches-on-ps4-starting-today/
  9. I’m just going to wait until the game is actually out before I condemn it or not. If it turns into a BF2 situation where people like myself (and I’m guessing most of you) are punished by the game for playing without buying MTX then yeah, fuck it. But if it’s literally just there to be what is essentially a paid for cheat code then whatever. The truth is we don’t know enough yet. Those dualshockers numbers are rubbish, demos and previews usually increase rewards and dumb down difficulty to give everyone a fair chance at events so they’ll probably be changed in the main game, but until we know for sure that it’s 100% steered toward pay-to-win and if you’re not willing to pay then fuck you, I’m not gonna worry about it. It’s definitely worth keeping an eye on though, and I’m interested to see more.
  10. Personally I think this is a whole lot of crying over nothing. You can buy orbs off the store for Devil May Cry 4 as well and that didn't ruin the game. Literally the only way this will be a problem is if it impacts the games balancing. Every DMC game has had a bit of a grind to it, I remember spending a food couple of hours on DMC3 and 4 running in and out of the same challenge room over and over to farm orbs. If it ends up ruining the games balancing to the point that it is unequivocally geared toward pay-to-win then I'll hold my hands up and admit I'm wrong, but if it just turns out to be quick fix like in 4 then what does it matter? If a few dipshits want to pay to make the game easier for themselves then fuck it, just as long as it stays a challenge for me.
  11. To be fair all the challenges are easy enough to get silvers on, you just need to keep trying and work out the optimal route. Get silver/gold on stealth is easily my favourite type of challenge, the enemies don't change their route so once you work out the best way to take them out you feel like an absolute stealth monster.

Started watching Mayans MC last night. It's the sequel/spin off to Sons of Anarchy, which is one of my all time favourite shows, and it's great. It's different enough to SoA to be it's own thing, so much so that the couple of cameos that have happened so far have felt forced (although one was fuckin bad ass and I'm glad it happened). Looking forward to seeing more.
  13. Update from US Gamer: Update 4 [4:12pm]: As information continues to come out of today's announcement that Telltale Games is closing, and particularly in light of Telltale's statement, there are new revelations to the situation at Telltale. We previously reported that a skeleton crew will remain behind to complete work on The Walking Dead Final Season. That information was inaccurate. Sources who wish to remain anonymous explained that there is a skeleton crew at Telltale, but they will be working on the Minecraft Story Mode project for Netflix. In fact, The Walking Dead team was also laid off today and The Walking Dead Final Season will not be completed. This matches with the statement issued by Telltale games where the company promised to "fulfill the company's obligations to its board and partners." Our sources say The Walking Dead Final Season is set to end after the second episode launches next week.
  14. Waiting to see what the other 15 games are, but it's a yes from me. To be honest it'll be a yes from me if I own most of the games, I just love shit like this. Got the NES and SNES mini's under the TV in the living room already so got room for more shit I don't need.

    Star Wars

To be honest they both have stupid names so it's an easy mistake.
  16. Finished! 100% and my first ever Platinum! I honestly don't remember the last time I enjoyed a game as much as I enjoyed this one :)
  17. Almost finished. I’ve got 100% on every district, learned every skill, acquired every gadget, and purchased every costume. Just a few story missions to go and I’m done ☺️
  18. So I think this may be my favourite game this year. 70% complete (all available side missions done), rocking the Iron Spider suit (earned, none of that pre-order bollocks). Honestly blown me away so far.
  19. How does the pricing compare?
  20. I know it's the obvious choice, but @Sly Reflex already mentioned Head Over Heels so I'm dropping The Legend of Zelda into the pot. Although not the first adventure game of its ilk on a console, Dragon Slayer and Hydlide can claim that prize, TLoZ is the one that people love and remember as it all but perfected the formula. It kick started one of the best series in gaming, was a fully open world on an 8bit console, and was the first cartridge to include a battery that allowed games to be saved. In my opinion there is no better or inspirational Action RPG on an 8bit system.* *Although Ys Books 1 & 2 come close.
  21. Just got to Kowloon, so about halfway through maybe? So far it is considerably better than the first: Combat feels quicker and more responsive, audio quality is much better, VO has improved, more interesting characters. I can't believe how much bigger it is too, what a jump.
