last night i couldn't load up my Lost Odyssey save (to my horror) until i disconnected from live, then it worked first time. So was there an update then or was it just maintenance?

oh yeah it was great for playing the spectrum on back in the day, it handles 4 colors like totally super sweet. The main problem is for anything thats optimized for HD (aka dead rising) i have to press my nose against the screen to read the text because its just a blur...fucking high defination...someone buy me a new telly.. i'll even offer sexual favours....

well if you want something that is the same as the r4 just rebranded, then go for the m3 real. It is essentially the same thing. I'm going to have a better look at it tonight so i'll post some feed back about it.

Ugh! Lucky for me I find going from 1st to 12th funny and all in the name of MK spirit. Most people don't seem to be getting on with single player. Well I haven't had any trouble at all, have finished all cc's first time and am now onto the mirror courses.

i loved the first J&D on ps2, think i finished it 100% about 3 or 4 times. A very fine platformer indeed. I never played any of the sequels though.

the r4ds is as easy to find as rocking horse shit... I ordered a MS real from consoleup.com, they have various bundles on there with micro sd cards, rumble packs etc. Think it was £35 with 1gb Micro DS and the DS rumble unit. Looks exactly the same as the R4 although i haven't installed the firmware in it yet, but i assume it works in the same way.

the joy of bioshock is the ingenious way you can use or kill the BD's like leading one into a room and turning him on another, laying traps and stuff like that. Becuase of the pretty neat AI you can pretty much do anything that you can think og. Its worth tubing to look at some of the cool shit other people have done. I so regret trading this now, esp for halo3 which is just gathering dust. I might even buy it back and play it again once i've worked through my backlog.

The dreamcast was an amazing console plagued with technicial troubles (sounds familiar...) i had two and the disc drive in both of them fucked up. I heard recently this is pretty easy to fix but mines gone the way of the tip. I think my fave DC moments where Phantasy Star Online - Just an awesome game to play, esp with all your friends online. Virtua Tennis - 4 people = win House of the Dead - Always had a soft spot of the light gun games Powerstone - Such a great, underrated game Skies of Arcadia - A truly amazing RPG I was also a fan of Chu Chu, sonic adventure 1 and 2, crazy taxi 1 and 2 (still got my copy of 2, thats gotta be worth something)

Everybody's Golf world tour would be pretty much THE reason i'd want a ps3. Wouldn't mind having a pop at MGS4 as well, just out of interest. I'm still not going to get one until i've invested in a decent telly. Its bad enough playing one HD next Gen console on a shit 14" CRT let alone two.

Agreed. On the surface, like almost all Wii games so far, its very accessable to everyone. But there is a depth for veteran MK players too. Anyone who says that it is dumbed down needs to proove so on the track.

I'm going to be controversal here.. cube>ds>n64>snes I really have a lot of love for the cube version. I've had some of my fave gaming moments with it a load of friends and some beers. Its easy enough for anyone to pick up but if you keep playing there is a lot of skill envolved as well. I thought the ds version was splended. The 64 version was good as well but hasn't aged to well and I always found the snes original to hard. I've still to play the wii version but from what I've seen so far I'd imagine I'd really like it.
