Does anyone own the Wii component AV cable? I have a pc monitor with TV tuner for my games, so currently my 360 is connected with a PC monitor style cable, and the Wii is using the out of box RBG. I too had a saturn and i thought it was great! The main points against it was that when released it had a £700 price tag, it could also produce better graphics than the PS1, but was harder to program than nintendos machine. Sorry, i meant Sony's Its also unfortunate that the Dreamcast didnt get the credit it deserved. Sega were a force to be feared untill Sony started throwing its money bags around. In all honesty Nintendo would of gone the same way had it not been for the undeniable success of the Gameboy and its japanese following.

After a good few hours on the single player i have one comment. CHEAT INCARNATE ON A DISC!!!!! f**k me its amazing how computers can do things you cant these days! :laugh:

WARNING: LONG RAMBLE APPROACHING Im on the fence with this really. I bought a Wii first, loved Zelda, Excite Truck and Dragonball Z but then there wasnt much else that i'd deem 'amazing'. I bought i 360 with spare cash i had from saving for a car and have been chinning the hell outa that for a good while. Illdog's kinda right about achievement points, they do give you something else to go for, but at the same time they can hinder a game - one example of this is Oblivion. I bought this game on the PC when it first came out, and got engrossed in the free-roaming nature of the game. Then after a good few months i sold it because i needed cash, but have recently re-bought it for the 360, and am almost shocked to say i have just been going for the quests that go towards the achievements... someone needs help? will it get me closer to any points? No? Sod ya then! Maybe its because i have done a lot of the sub-quests before, but id hate to think if i hadnt done then id be skipping them and clinically playing the game for achievement points. Simply because id be missing so much. The problem i have with the Wii is temporary. There is a bit of a drought but there will be so many good games coming out soon. Personally i think Zelda alone justifies buying a Wii, and now Mario Strikers has got me playing my Wii an awful lot again. Dont get me wrong the Wii and 360 are both excellent, but they are catering for completly different audiences... ... I dont regret buying either, and i dont prefer one to the other but my Wii has been playing second fiddle to my 360, but i can see that changing in the future with the games that are on the horizon. As regarding Achivement points, i think theyre a form of drugs. Gaming is very addictive at the best of times, never mind when people have something other than a high score for a single game to worry about...

Well i sort of made up the super legendary term... :silly: but by my definiation a 'super legendary' would be ones most people cant obtain without a nintendo event like Mew, or Celebi (although some of them can be attained through colleseum or XD on the cube) and a 'normal' legendary is a one off - like mewtwo, palkia or dialga.

Although im sure you can take a evolved 'mon to the move tutor and teach it a move it missed due to evolving... Anyway, we need to get down to a little matter of battling and/or trading. Ive got loads of pokes now so if anyone has ones im missing id gladly breed to trade... might even have the odd spare legendary from playing through certain games twice... But we should definitly have some sort of tournament at some point - after the mario strikers one's finished...? An i think we'd need to have some sort of ground rules to make it fair e.g. no super legendaries or only pokes up to a certain level.

I got a copy of this today. Seems really fun so far, can see what illdog means tho. Its one of those games where the CPU just pulls stuff from its ass :laugh:

Im gonna pick up a copy of this soon, £15 quid on choicesuk sounded great, but its gone up to like £18 now. Sainsburys are selling it for £17.97 so i might as well get it from there and physically have it there and then. Also i noticed there's no Friend Codes for this game in the list - does it go off your Wii console's code?

I too went to see this, with low expectations. After all Transformers: The animated movie is probably the best film of all time EVER and i was afraid that MR. Bay would stick his cock in in it and ruin it for everyone... ... fortunatley for him, he didnt. He can now sleep easy as i wont be hunting him down. The film was a corker from a Transformers point of view, yeah so okay, the bits with the meatbags were sometimes a bit lame, but if you go your in it for the giant kick ass robots right? And yeas there was one or two quotes from the old film :laugh: I was a bit dissapointed there wasnt more, but then i'd of been in my element if the old film was remade like this

Nintendo arcade games were always a bit gay. I remember a SNES arcade unit somewhere that had a few games on it - One was Super Mario World, which was like 50p or whatever for about five MINUTE'S worth of play!! Honestly it had a timer in the top corner and everything! Christ Knows how much you'd spend to finish the bugger

Ive had a brief go on this today too. First Impressions are good - the game was amazing anyway, but the controls seem to fit well. The only thing that I dont like at the moment is that when you aim you have to move the screen with the analogue stick while aiming with the Wiimote... but i guess that because im used to the Cube version. Will probably click into place soon enough.

I like the new look, no gripes thus far although at a push id say the Latest Posts tab looks a bit like one block. Maybe needs something to seperate and define each thread / post? otherwise :woohoo:
