  1. "Completed easy mode." Well that explains how you shaved four hours off my time!

    Breaking Bad

I've tuned back into this on Netflix, I'm on Season 3 Episode 3. I've always enjoyed the crime end of the show but not so much Walt's domestic disputes. Whenever he and Skyler start arguing I usually switch tabs for a while...
  4. If I remember correctly, you're talking about the room where some guy asks if you want to escape with him and you answered "no". Go back to that room and there's a door in the darkness you can walk through if memory serves, it will take you outside the castle and you can continue. I could be talking complete bullshit.
  5. I never could figure out how to beat Dedede in Dream Land...
  6. Ok, I'm back. I cleared out the quests in Junktown and have now moved on to the Hub. The art direction in this game is fantastic. I'm really just ticking boxes according to the guide I'm following than blindly immersing myself in the game. The only reason I'm doing this is because of the time limit and I don't want to fuck anything up. A fool could see that there is an incredible game here that would really reward multiple playthroughs. But this is 2014, not 1997, and I've got a backlog to get through! Like I said above though, I don't plan on following a guide for Fallout 2, which will probably be around #10-20 on this list.
  7. There's always Fairy Fencer F.
  8. Here is the segment showing X from Monolith Soft: Edit: Nevermind the embedding won't work. X starts around the 35: 10 mark.

  10. The previews for the game which went up in the last couple of days have all been quite negative.
  11. I got addicted to the X-Files. But this is still very much a thing. I'll be going back to Fallout soon.

I'm watching the X-Files for the first time ever and I love it. Watched the first 10 episodes so far. Gillian Anderson, mmm... Great show!

    Copyright

The Grinch Who Stole the Public Domain Saw this linked on RPS. I guess corporate greed knows no bounds (as we know from the recent youtube copyright and net neutrality fiascos).
  18. Not technically true. I uninstalled the raptr client years ago and it still tracks my Steam games every time. Maybe it's one of those programs that embeds itself deep and lingers around when you uninstall it.

  20. Well, this was a fun distraction while it lasted. I should make a couple of things clear, you can spend real money on booster packs but you don't need to sink a penny into the game - every day you get a daily quest worth 40 gold (packs cost 100 gold) and if you don't do them the quests are still there the next day along with a new quest, so you can earn 80 gold then etc. You can also craft any card you don't have by breaking down unwanted cards into "alchemy dust" (or some shit), and create cards by spending that (and you can see the card you are going to create, unlike when you buy a pack and the contents are random). And the main reason why you don't need to sink a penny into the game is that the few "expert" level cards that you may be missing are not necessarily better anyway - well, in my own opinion, there wasn't a single mage card that I could have crafted that I would have included in my mage deck. I just didn't want to give the impression that the game was P2W, since I mentioned payments above and the game really isn't. The main reason I've had enough of it is that I just found out that the rankings are monthly - not continuous... Ranked mode is the mode I enjoyed the most (like everyone I assume) and I got my ranking up to 18, but now it's back to 25. I would rather play a few matches now and then when I feel like it than have to take part in this monthly race, being set back to the beginning each time. Also, I haven't the interest in investing time in the other classes so I can win online matches with them (which is what a typical quest consists of). I mean some of the classes are probably on an equal footing with the mage (in my experience of online play, the mage and the shaman are by far the most popular, and generally the toughest matches) - but half of them seem plain hopeless by comparison (well, without some high level thinking I'm sure). The other class I tried for a while was the warrior and good luck to anyone trying to be competitive with that. I just want to play as the mage and plug away at ranked mode when I feel like it... Eh, I think it's back to my retro-athon!
