I'd be more inclined to grab it if MGS1 wasn't a download. I have all the games on their various systems anyway, but to have them all in a nice set on disc would be awesome. Twin Snakes is amazing, better than the PS1 original in my eyes. The way they remade all the cut scenes to have a kung-fu action movie feel to them was just incredible. Didn't realise it was worth that much on ebay, although that's one game i'd have to be physically forced to part with, pried from my cold dead hands etc.

It's not every week but it happens more often than not. Try and stick with it though as there is an over-arching story that builds up as the seasons progress. Really enjoyed the last season, some great episodes towards the end.

Finished Donkey Kong Country Returns last night... what a game! Retro managed to retain everything that made the original a joy to play, and also managed to shoehorn in a few wiimote gestures that actually work and don't just get in the way. Other dev's should take note when coming back to an old game series. If I had to give this any shit points it'd probably be the occasional frustrating level/boss, but mostly it feels as though you messed up rather than the game being unfair.

Been using the US service since launch and am so glad that it finally has a launch date over here. It's fantastic for those games I like the look of but don't want to pay full price for, the 5 day passes are cheap enough but sometimes even the 60 minute trial is plenty. It can get a bit laggy from time to time but hopefully having servers over here will sort that out. Would be interested in picking one of the mini consoles up, as apparently they're giving them away free at the Eurogamer Expo, although they haven't stated what the condition for the freeness is as yet.

I keep thinking about it too much as well. Is Tanner's body sitting there just monged out in his original vehicle? How is he still driving it? What happens to the other person's conciousness when you're inside them? I hope they explain a bit more about it during the story and why you can only jump into certain vehicles. I even parked up next to my car and noticed that Tanner appears in both cars .

Beat this earlier today. Enjoyed it for the most part but the infuriating final boss tarnished the experience somewhat. One simple change could've made it better; Just make the shield 360 degrees but make it degrade quicker. I couldn't recommend it at 1200 MARPs though tbh, 800 would be more like it.

It's kind of almost worth it at those prices...

Never heard of it before coming here but I really enjoyed listening to Joypod. Definitely one i'll be tuning into again.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was the first of many with the way things are progressing. DVD just can't cut it for storage anymore, not with all the sound, high-quality textures, and other content they pack into games now.

Literally counting the days until this arrives and i'm hoping for a sweet collectors edition (hopefully with a bronze bust of Ken ). Very interested to see more of the rifts Elizabeth can open and how that ties into the overall story. Not too sure about their use in combat however but as long as they don't overuse it, it should be fine.

Want want want this in my face now. Put over 150 hours into Oblivion, hopefully Skyrim will be much the same. Collectors edition looks nice, but £130? For a Dragon Statue? I'll pass thanks.

I recognise some of you names from there also, good to see you guys are still about. Gives me a warm, comfortable feeling inside. I swear as soon as midnight hit something changed. I felt different. Changed somehow. Kinda wished I gone to bed at 9 as i'm feeling quite tired now

Very impressed with this so far. Played about halfway through the ice world and the puzzles are getting more and more devious, as are the bosses. Art and sound are still impressing and i'm loving the Metroid-ish style exploration and progression. As for minus points, I agree with RetroEd about the camera, it could certainly do with at least having the option to pull it back a little. Could do with having a minimap as well.

Been lurking for a few weeks and you guys seem like a sound bunch so in a moment of madness (and following Sly Reflex's advice over on NowLoading because he done a swear) I decided to register.
